SMB board game?

Sorry if this belongs in a different forum, but I'm looking for a physical Mario game to get my friend for his birthday. I know they must be out there-- so far I've found checkers and Monopoly.

Does anyone know if those games have a Mario "twist" to them (like how in Pokemon Monopoly rolling doubles would give you a Pokemon power?)Thanks!

Well, Luigi's the queen in the chess game, which is a pretty big twist if you ask me.

I've read the Monopoly box and no special twists were mentioned.

Oh, that's neat, Bowser, thanks! Unfortunately I don't think he'll fare well with the Japanese but it's tempting to get it anyway cause that looks pretty cool.
