This has made me ponder: What does Mario's world looks like on a map? Is it even able to be mapped?

In the maps for Superstar Saga and Partners in Time, Bowser's Castle is to the West of Peach's.Magikrazy said:Explain.PrinceLarryKoopa88 said:Bowser's Castle is west of the Mushroom Kingdom.
I have this map printed and sitting right next to meMagikrazy said:

In the NSMBU intro the airship's hand throws the plumbers and toads to Acorn Plains in the opposite direction that that ship's face. In order for this to work, the ship would have to be either pointing East or North East, meaning their origin was from the West or Southwest.Rayquaza said:PrinceLarryKoopa88 said:They either came from the West or EastRayquaza said:How do you know they didn't come from the North? How do you know that? Just because someone moves right doesn't mean they're moving east. In a geographical standpoint, you really need to see the entire globe, and in one specific game you cant.
In fact, for a more accurate representation take a look at where the sun rises, and where the sun sets. You cant
But the vast majority don't have compasses or any continuation of locations on consecutive series. You're thinking of the cliche Western level thinking that everything must go left to right.Mcmadness said:Bowser's castle is most likely east, not west.
The vast majority of Mario games involve Mario running that direction anyhow.

Well he is going left to right, but what if right is actually west.
There is not directions, but my theory on the similarities of the ecosystem can connect the NSMBU map to the Ml:PJ map.
Super Star Saga had bowser's castle to the left of the map. According to the MARIO WIKI Bean Bean Kingdom shares its Northeastern Border with the Mushrrom Kingdom. (THIS IS THE ONLY LITERAL DIRECTION ONE CAN FIND IN ACTUAL WORDS!)Mcmadness said:PrinceLarryKoopa88 said:But the vast majority don't have compasses or any continuation of locations on consecutive series. No but when all we have to go one is a basic layout then making the assumption of right equals east is hardly ilogical.
Plus partners in time is the exception, Bowser's castle has almost always been to the right, not the left. When you are judging something like this you don't go by exceptions.
