The song The Man by Taylor Swift in her new album Lover is about the double standards women often face when it comes to how they should behave, and how they can be shamed and put down whereas when men do the same thing they often get praised. I don't get to relate to the main point, but it's still empowering to me as i don't get to fulfill all the usual characteristics of regular men and as result i get shamed, however even so i know that if i was just like them, i can still be better, i wouldn't just be a man, i would be THE MAN, like Taylor is saying in her own context ♥
