youtube comments can be really awful, i've gotten very hurtful comments against me personally on there
i've been trying to cold turkey on youtube altogether recently but before that i had an extension to hide youtube comments and i turned off the notifications, also i used a registry editor to remove guest mode from chrome so i'm not tempted to just use that to bypass any extensions i have to discipline myself. i have to say it was effective in making me feel better
