One of the craziest things I had to do in Middle School is watching an episode of Homicide: Life on the Street for Reading class
That's crazy enough but my teacher just so happen to have the one where Steve Burns plays the killer
The contrast between Garfield and Friends and Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats is pretty interesting givin to two franchises have somewhat of a rivalry
Garfield and Friends was supposed to be solely a US Acres cartoon till the network wouldn't greenlit it without Garfield
and even today, the Garfield parts seem to be the more beloved part of the show while I heard the Heathcliff one was supposed to only have Heathcliff but never the less, the Catillac Cats are generally the more popular parts, granted, a lot of that seems to be due to Cleo and is still outclassed by Garfield in popularity but still, it's weird they ended up being mirrors of each other
