help i've been stuck in 3rd grade for 17 years

Can't argue with that. I've dealt with people who were like 16 in 2021 or so, meaning they were born in 2005, and these people acted like 3rd graders on the internet. But at least some of them had the decency to apologize for their childish behavior and try to make things right with people, so some of them are aware that their childish behavior is harmful towards other people.

Does that mean us people born in 2002 are permanently 6th graders?
