SO NOW IT'S MY FACE YOU'RE MAKING FUN OF? IF WE ALL TOOK THINGS AS LITTLE SERIOUSLY AS YOU'RE TAKING THEM, WE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!
I like how I've worked for three weeks at my restaurant cleaning job now and they keep ghosting me on pay and stalling out with excuses. (EDIT: They did end up paying me but it was really obnoxious that it took a month)

You seriously need to find another job if they're skimping out on your paycheck

I'm gonna probably be playing Bridge to the Turnabout the turn of the year (pun actually not intended) from 2023 to 2024. I'm very interested in the case, it'll be interesting to see how it brings together elements from the previous case.

I have had it spoiled who the culprit is, although I don't know why they did it. Considering it seems like the case might go the "sympathetic culprit" route like with
Yanni Yogi, Mimi Miney, and Acro
I hope the case isn't as sledgehammery about trying to get you to sympathize with them as with the latter culprit.
Thank goodness for using Leech Seed and then stalling it out when fighting Brock's Pokémon.

A lot of solo Pokemon runs struggle with Brock lol. Abra is probably the absolute worst.
I wish some threads could be marked so that even users who aren't moderators could edit the original post, the Elimination Game Winners thread being an example. But any others where something is ongoing but the OP went inactive

Domino's: If you buy three 1-topping medium pizzas, you can get each for $5.55!
My wallet: *Relates to Roserade's Discord post begging not to mention Domino's*
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is now the third cartoon with all of its episodes having been covered in an elimination thread, the first two being Avatar: The Last Airbender and Kirby: Right Back At Ya respectively.
Some may have noticed I haven't been adding more reviews in The Shadow Prince's Spookily Good Danny Phantom Reviews lately, but that's not because I've abandoned the thread, it's because I plan to update my reviews when taking a three month break from watching the show starting next month.

@Discord, I just finished watching FIM Season 9 today. Here's what I thought of the last 7 episodes of the series. (I watched the episodes before the finale a couple weeks ago, but waited for some time before I watched the last three.)

Horse Shoe-in: This one was just ok. I didn't like how Starlight made Trixie move on even though some of the decisions she made during the test weren't that well thought out. However, I did like that Starlight eventually came to her senses and made Trixie Student Council instead of Vice Head-Mare. The ending was also quite abrupt and rushed.

Daring Doubt: Hmm…I didn't really care for this one too much. Fluttershy made the wrong move by joining Daring Do's worst enemy and his army on their quest, though I did like that RD and Daring Do joined forces to save her. The ending was also quite skeptical, and although the problem was solved, it was done in a way that toke too many risks.

Growing Up is Hard to Do: I loved this episode! The first thing I latched onto was how upon wishing they were grown up, The CMC still acted like children, to the point where they kind of reminded me of one of my siblings, who had a rebellious streak during his teen years and didn't trust others. I also liked the song, and by the end of it, The CMC realized that there's still a lot they need to learn before they actually grow up.

Big Mac Question: This one was slightly good. I liked how each character how their own side of the story to tell, as it showed how each of them prepared for Big Mac and Sugar Belle's ceremony. However, Discord caused a lot more trouble than necessary with his apple monsters. I also liked how everyone was able to overcome this mistake, and that the ceremony still went pretty well despite all the problems that arised.

Ending of the End: The first part was just ok, but I thought the second part was pretty good! The final battle between the Mane 6, The Student 6, The Princesses, Discord, and many others VS. Tirek, Chrysalis, and Cozy Glow wasn't just epic, it was Phenomenal! There was so much action, and Pinkie had hit the Peak of Funniness! I also liked how it wasn't an easy fight, as the characters had to realize that together, their friendships are stronger than any power alone.

The Last Problem: This one was very sentimental and heartwarming. Luster Dawn reminded me of how I acted during my teen years, when all my friends from elementary school drifted away from me and I mainly focused on my studies. This episode also reminded me a bit of G3 MLP, which has a special place in my heart. Yes, I know liking G3 is weird, but it holds a lot of nostalgia within me. And after watching this, I had a newfound appreciation for G4 and everything about it. So now there's two versions of MLP that I'll make sure to cherish for the rest of my life!

I'm so glad you convinced me to watch this show again after so much time without it. You really made me see that even though I haven't seen everything, I still like these characters, and someday, I might watch all the episodes I have yet to see in this series.

    Sincerely, Toadettefan.

My replies to your thoughts: Part 1
I thought A Horse Shoe-In was okay too, but for somewhat different reasons. I felt it was realistic for Starlight to want to give Trixie chances to turn everything around, but sometimes Trixie felt a bit too clueless and a bit overstepping, and I don't think Sunburst was a great pick considering he had to learn only four episodes ago not to yank the buzzer away from Twilight or get her disqualified and had no understanding of how to have social skills with Starlight in Uncommon Bond. The different vice headmare tryout scenes were fun though.

Daring Doubt was my least favorite of these six as well, though because it felt like it was trying to throw under the bus everything good Daring did in previous episodes, as she did save her friends and the whole city of Somnabula, after all. Such as how no one cared about looking at her legacy in her very last scene in the show. Also Azhuizotl tried to unleash 800 years of heat 5 seasons ago but was still portrayed as a hero. I agree on Fluttershy being written poorly, as she was hypocritical about saying to hear everyone else's side of the story while completely writing off Daring's side.

I really liked Growing Up Is Hard To Do, it sounds like that's one of your very favorites of Season 9 and it's one of its better episodes in my opinion, although there are a few others I liked more. I agree with your points on how it's good, though it did seem strange that the Crusaders couldn't use a train competently considering they could in For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils. I also liked the characters and worldbuilding it introduced, as Biscuit, especially Spur and Bloofy, were fun characters with interesting designs, Bloofy had an entertaining premise of his powers, but the worldbuilding was used to complement instead of substitute the execution of its moral.

I will reply to your thoughts on the next three episodes tomorrow.

My replies to your thoughts: Part 2
I actually loved The Big Mac Question and it was my favorite episode of this season. I agree with your positive thoughts, as the different stories were all memorable and funny and lead to a more interesting ending than everything going perfectly. I also liked how it wrapped up several plot lines, from Hard to Say Anything, The Perfect Pear, and The Break-Up Breakdown. Even with Discord I liked that he was annoying in a way that was funny but not dangerous with the apple monsters, and had a sense of humor about being criticized, in contrast with Matter of Principals where he acted like a bully putting characters in physical and much more serious emotional danger and insulted anyone criticizing his actions.

I tend to count two-parters as one part, but I thought The Ending of the End was really good. I loved the action scene and message of teamwork too, and I also liked that the villains were more intimidating than in some Season 8 episodes, (Mean Six for Chrysalis and School Raze for Tirek and Cozy Glow) and that they balance Twilight out well without making her either too perfect or too much of a worrywart. It's a top 10 episode of Season 9 but still has three flaws keeping it from being higher, the biggest being that Cozy was still a child so I didn't want her to be turned into stone forever at that age, but also that Discord was too reckless with his plan to improve Twilight's celebration (even though his reasoning for it is funny) and that the Student Six could have had more personality in terms of their friendship speeches.

I agree that The Last Problem resonated with me as well, I heard one reviewer say Luster Dawn was really boring but I thought her perspective and conflict were interesting so her being a good character was refreshing. The conflict about drifting away friends resonated with me as well, having been in that situation where my friends have become less close. The song was really beautiful as well. The only parts I didn't like were that there could have been more personality to some of the in the present character roles and Rainbow was too insensitive to Twilight in the flashbacks.
I am curious, how did it remind you of G3?
    Zelda and Tri
    Zelda and Tri
G3 might not be written as well as G4, but it has lots of heartwarming and sentimental moments that just make me feel really good inside. Yes, there are some bad things, like Newborn Cuties as well as The Core 7 era and G3.5 in general, but anything before that has a special place in my heart. So The Last Problem made me feel very happy like those movies did in the past.
It's good that Chris Pratt ended up doing a great job as Mario, but during advertising you have to act charismatic enough to make it look like you're going to be a great Mario then as well
