    Hey BlueCatMenace, have fun at the movie tomorrow. However if the audience does the "Chicken Jockey" thing make sure they don't grab your popcorn out of your hands and throw it across the aisle LOL. Might want to bring an extra bucket of popcorn so if they do you still have some afterwards.

    I remember hearing it in Lego Marvel Super Heroes but if it's a callback to an earlier game like the self-titled Deadpool then I wouldn't know about that.

    Apparently I can't compliment anything I like anymore. Whenever I do one of my friends immediately says I'm just biased. For example: "I think Mario Wonder is really fun. "BIASED" "I bought this really cool Lego set." "Obviously biased."

    If you feel able to do so, you should bring up your discomfort with your friend, on both counts. There's nuance to it and I may not know your exact circumstances as well as you, but if you can, it's better to face the potential awkwardness and plainly let your friend know you would like to be able to state your opinion without immediately having it dismissed and that you expect him to respect how you identify. If he's a true friend, he'll hear you out, respond, reflect, and adapt, and it would be better for the both of you than letting it fester while you withdraw from offering up your opinions. If he reacts rudely, then perhaps he has some self-reflection to do.

    Remember, the foundation of any relationship, even a friendship, is communication.

    theres a difference between blind shilling, like what no lifers on reddit does vs positive constructive feedback the former is unhealthy the latter is meerly showing support based on a game one finds multiple merits while at the same time mindful and wary of said pitfalls

    One of my favourite things about Sasha, is that rather than giving him the Smug personality, they gave him Lazy, which is just the best thing ever. Lazies have the best writing in my opinion, and it makes him even cuter!

    I agree. You would think that with a villager based on the femboy trope (So I think), they'd be getting the Smug personality, but it's nice of Nintendo to choose not to go that route and give Sasha the Lazy personality instead. I do have to say that given the sandbox nature of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the writing on the villagers feels very flat and uninteresting, so I do hope that if Nintendo ever ends up doing another mainline Animal Crossing game in the future, they end up putting more effort into the writing on the villagers.
