whys that what did they do?

i was a minor when the brony phenomenon began and so fuckin many of them would just constantly publicly post NSFW fanart and shit and would get so upset when you told them 'hey maybe don't post that shit publicly in places where minors can see it' like i was only into the show for a little bit but that entitled behavior put me off the entire series and fandom

well im sorry that you had such a bad experience with the brony fandom thankfully there are better sides to the fandom that me sparks and a few others here in the mario boards are apart of so hopefully you can see the brighter side of the brony fandom and be on better terms with it!

ngl i'm gonna be honest the fact that there are still bronies in 2025 is wild to me like the actual craze died years ago and y'all are still keeping it up

Well I can't speak for all bronies but I think it's the case that since the new stuff they pulled out was mediocre to bad that all the bronies where like nah screw this were going back the pervious stuff was better

(Not in response to Boo) People can like what they like. Just because it's 2025 doesn't mean they can't like something released a while ago. There's no issue if what they do don't affect others negatively.

@Bibi Blocksberg The "bronies" you are talking about in particular doing that inappropriate stuff are an unfortunate and very cringy and unwanted sub-culture of brony fandom called "cloppers" (not telling you what that term means as it might not be safe for this forum, look it up yourself), and personally, I don't care for them either. I think they're weird. And most bronies don't count them as genuine fans. Normal bronies like me genuinely wish that they weren't around and that they would just go away, especially since a lot of people negatively stereotype ALL of us adult male MLP fans as being cloppers and they cause a lot of non-fans to view the fandom itself in a very negative way. And yes, I think it's disgusting that they put that filth out in public view where kids could potentially see them. Fortunately, on Deviantart I've noticed the people who post such things usually censor them so minors can't see them.

@Boo1268 Not all G4 FIM bronies hate MLP G5 like you said though-there are several who like it, however, a lot of them don't like the lower quality of G5 and complain about it and point it out. Then there are other adult bronies like me and Sparks who completely like G5 despite its flaws and don't complain or even really pay attention to or notice them, but still think FIM is way better. I happen to like all the previous gens of MLP AND G5, as well as the entire brand just in general (I think I'm technically kind of a "super-fan" that way tbh), but still think FIM is the best. Anyway yeah, MLP G5 is disappointing for some. Some aspects of G5 were disappointing for me as much as I like it as well, like no villain battles and stuff like that like in FIM except at the very end of Make Your Mark with Opaline. There's so much more I wanted to see with G5, but it never happened, although despite all of these disappointments I still appreciate G5 for what it is. Fortunately, MLP G6 appears to be an upcoming reboot of G5, so buckle your seatbelt, this is going to be an awesome and fun ride. Hopefully. Unless they ruin it. Like as much as I love G5 for the sake of the other adult fans I hope G6 and upcoming generations are much better. Including this apparent reboot.
