If Nintendo released their soundtracks through, I don't know, MY NINTENDO, there wouldn't be a problem.

There are many other music channels uploading Nintendo music sans Nintendo's permission. GilvaSunner was simply caught in the crossfire. Why would they attack him instead of the others? I dunno.

Reminder that Nintendo has done conflict mineral mining and there's nothing defensible about that.

I've been condemning Nintendo about this for well over a decade now. Other veteran members in this community likely know. I've known Nintendo has poor PR for fans for years, over a decade, so a lot of resentment is already there, but this has really spilled over, which is what's new.

Also the argument that "this community hates Nintendo" is coming off as defensive in response to harsh criticism; are we not entitled to lambast an abusive multinational corporation? Criticism, even if vitroilic, is not necessarily hatred; people do this because they care about Nintendo and expect much better from them, though those expectations are understandably rock bottom.

Go buy a PlayStation then. Why you do this and not own a PlayStation is beyond my comprehension.

That's a tu quoque fallacy that doesn't really address criticism. Sony has their own anti customer problems and I already play my part by refusing to buy products I believe are subpar and exploitative such as Pokémon, 3D All Stars, Nintendo Switch Online, and I am doing emulation for old games and modding my Switch.
