    Well, it's really obvious she prefers to be called that in the show plus it reminds my own dislike of being called my deadname

    I think it makes sense to be frustrated at it. "Jenny", the name, is representative of her personhood, which is something she often wants to be recognized for throughout the series, to the point that looking like a perfect, beautiful girl consumed her in one episode (perhaps multiple?). While her identity as a robot is important, it's not encompassing to the person that she feels she is. "XJ9" is a serial number at the end of the day. The number speaks to her canonical serialization, and when Jenny is striving to be herself, the serialization strips her down to simply be "another one of the XJ-series". "XJ9" represents what she is. "Jenny" represents WHO she is.

    While I don't think it's 1-to-1 with deadnames, it's similar enough to the concept to get the gist. It's like how I wouldn't want to be "adult afab human, child to [insert my mom's name here]" in casual address. Despite it explicitly calling me human, it feels dehumanizing and reductive. A name I chose for myself better encompasses my identity.

    that was a fun watch! i guess it's basically just few second clips from a bunch of things that represent members of the community (e.g. homer simpson for mightymario and baby luigi for BLOF) along with random stuff like mario maker 2? i liked the background song too

    Fun fact: Today is the release date of Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon and The Blade of Light, Path of Radiance and Lucina's birthday, so it isn't weed day, it's Fire Emblem day

    So, Dragon Ball Evolution is one of those Free with ads movies on YouTube, so now I can safely say I wouldn't watch it even if it was free

    something i forgot has claimed dixie has one that ended up on her head becuase of "wacky evolution" but first of all itd have to be a mutation not evolution and second of all its not viable anyway and is just ridiculous i just like to think of her as having ridiculous prehensile hair

    Fun fact: While it appeared in other media, the original Scooby Doo Where Are You theme song hasn't been used as a theme song for another show till at the moment, the latest series.
    In fact, classic Scooby Doo shows used the "Scooby Dooby Doo, Looking For You" part of the New Scooby Movies theme in near all of them
