It's a real pain when there's three in one room and you need to beat them all to progress but also bombs are still capped at 8 at this point, also it turns out you don't actually have to do that if you bomb the left wall in the room below, how was I supposed to know
@Power Flotzo You are the only person that I know that likes Proseka so do you know if it's Ootori Emu or Otori Emu?
I've seen both of the spellings so now I'm confused.

If you mean in Japanese, it's Ootori, with two "o" kana. The global server uses the latter as a romanization even though it's technically incorrect.

Incidentally, her last name refers to the fenghuang, a bird in East Asian mythology, which the Pokémon Ho-Oh is based off. It also explains her family's theme park being called Phoenix Wonderland.
The Oppenheimer x Barbie pairing reminds me a lot of Animal Crossing x Doom to the point where I wouldn't be surprised if I saw fanart of the two interacting with each other.

Do you think Santa packs special presents for anyone born on December 25 (Aimi was the first one I could think of, but there are sure to be others out there)? I'd like to think so, since it's a bit heartwarming.

Follow-up to the eShop stuff: I've decided on a few games that likely won't be on the Switch for my Wii U purchases, and maybe you could suggest which one I should get:

    • SMA4
    • Drill Dozer
    • Golden Sun
    • Wario Land 4
    • Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon
    • M&L: Partners in Time

I would prefer the GBA games over the DS games, since I don't have any way to play them (unless Nintendo Switch Online updates to include GBA games), and I also wouldn't mind suggestions if you have any.

Super Mario Advance 4 is pretty fun, and as someone who played the SMA games growing up, I do appreciate the QoL changes and even some of the more mocked elements like the voice clips, but, ultimately, I'd say it's probably not worth prioritizing here considering it's just, at its core, a classic Mario platformer. SMB3 is likely to get rereleased over and over (I think it's on NSO, even), so unless you're really intent on experiencing the changes SMA4 made as opposed to just wanting to play SMB3, there'll be other opportunities to get it.

Wario Land 4 is fun, but I wouldn't call it packed with content. In the end, it's great for a Wario Land game, and a middling GBA platformer overall. I think it's worth it to play, but I wouldn't prioritize it at the expense of other games.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is an interesting one. I like it, at least in concept. I've replayed it to re-experience it. Yet, truthfully, I don't know that I'd describe it as... fun to play. It's all linear rooms (save for the dual screen baby puzzle areas, which are just time-consuming) and enemy spam to pad out the game. Actually playing it is a bit of a slog, and if you want it to be less of a slog, you're basically going to end up trivializing battles with the broken overpowered special attack items. Excellent final boss theme though it may have, I'd recommend against purchasing the game here, when your options are limited.

Golden Sun is, as far as I'm aware, pretty substantial - being an RPG - and fairly well-received. I'd probably recommend that one, myself, of these options. Admittedly, I can't weigh in on Drill Dozer because I only know it as "Smash cameo" and "one of Gamefreak's non-Pokémon titles". It seems to be considered pretty good, though, so it might be a fair choice.

I can't speak to that Fire Emblem game at all, but maybe @Koops can help you?
Or, uhhhhh, I don't know who plays Fire Emblem.
GBA maybe? Mayan? You could ask them, maybe?

overdue reply but GBA FE has two games that've been localized, those being Blazing Sword and Sacred Stones

the former is very all over the place if you're someone who's played a good deal of the series but as an introduction it's pretty neat. The latter is a good ass game that I wanna say might be held back by minor flaws but is overall very solid
As of right now, Tomori Kusunoki has made the difficult choice to step down as the voice of NijiGaku's Setsuna Yuki come March 31 of next year due to being diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. I decided to start reading some of Setsuna's bond stories in SIFAS, and hearing how much passion Tomoriru had for voicing Setsuna admittedly brings a few tears to my eyes.

I wish her the best, both for her future as a seiyuu and her battle against EDS.

Thread containing Tomoriru's fellow cast members giving their best wishes:
OK fam, I have $18 credit on the 3DS/Wii U eShop, so if anyone could recommend some games for me to buy with that money (preferably exclusives or VC games), that would be highly appreciated.

Good, so then you should take my advice and wait for a discount on the later games, because sometimes they're by quite a lot so you could be able to get the later games that way on the 3DS since you can see the questions and present the evidence at the same time with the two screens

Comfort characters are fine and all, but does anyone have any comfort voice actors? I have a few, but I'm curious to know the ones other people adore.
I think I should do another Love Live! AS prediction since another rotation is about to end (going off this site).

18th Party Scouting: Either Hanayo or Nozomi (I'm hoping for the former, though both haven't had limited UR cards since last year), one Colorful Dreams! Colorful Smiles! SR
Event 2: Kanan (she's locked in for event as she already had both a Party and Fes3 card), Shioriko, and whichever girl doesn't get this month's Party UR. SR cards are Maki and Riko (since they're the only ones remaining from their respective SR sets) and one CDCS card.
33rd All-Star Festival: Hanamaru (she's the only one left) and Emma, with the two CDCS cards left? Dunno about this one.

Anyway, I should get back to watching the Killing Game and see who the culprits on both ships turn out to be.
"I'll check back in on this post around Feb. 25 to see how many of my predictions are correct."
Better late than never, I guess.

I got the All-Star Fes predictions wrong, but with news of the recent event, I got two of them correct, those being Honoka and Shioriko. I also correctly guessed that it would be a White Day event, since it ends on March 14th in Japanese Standard Time (for those who don't know, it's a holiday in which people send reciprocal gifts to thank those who gave them gifts on Valentine's Day). On to predictions.

For the 14th Party Scouting, it's highly likely that the featured girl is from Aqours, since they missed out on a possible UR this event. It's likely going to be Riko since she's gone the longest without a UR, though part of me hopes it's Ruby because it would be nice to have two lims of different characters voiced by Furi released within days of each other (the other is Airi's birthday lim in JPSekai).

The story event after that will have Mari as the event UR and Umi and Emma as the gacha URs.

Finally, the 29th All-Star Festival will have 1 Aqours and 1 from another group, which will likely be Kasumi since she hasn't received a limited UR card since December 2020.

And now, to wait and see if I'm correct.

idk what you're talking about but I predict that we'll get new pokemon scarlet and violet info in april
Posting my predictions for the next few events in SIFAS because I want to put them somewhere and see how they hold up.

28th All-Star Festival: The featured URs are going to be 1 from µ's and 1 from Niji, so it's likely to be Rin and Kasumi since they've both gone the longest without a limited UR.
White Day Exchange Event (Since it's likely going to be held around March 14th): Honoka, Riko, and either Shizuku or Shioriko are going to be the URs. Hoping My Mai Tonight Kanan will be available from event points since all her cards since a year ago have been only available from gacha.
14th Party Scouting: My predictions are currently fuzzy, but I'm hoping the featured UR is one from either µ's or Aqours since we got two Niji Party UR's in a row.

I'll check back in on this post around Feb. 25 to see how many of my predictions are correct.

Yeah, pretty much. I saw the music video for her single "Secret Sugar," and I honestly enjoyed seeing all the art sent in by Furirin's fans, as well as the song itself. I also saw the video for "Azuma Kara Nishi E" (translation: From East to West), which felt nostalgic, and the video gave a good insight into her friendship with fellow Aqours member Arisa Komiya, which comes as no surprise given the two provide the voices for both Kurosawa sisters.
You know you've accomplished something when you manage to convince someone how great Poppin' Party is.
