  • whenever i complain about linux issues, the point i am making is not that linux is bad and i wanna go back to using windows because fuck no. windows is awful and you'd have to PAY me to go back to using that as my daily driver.

the point i am making is i frickin hate computers.

I hate computers too sometimes. I've cursed at them before. Computers-they're great-but they're also annoying. Like, being completely objective rather than subjective here.

Also I would struggle with Linux because you have to enter commands for it to do anything and-not good at memorizing computer code. Or commands, rather. I mean with Windows I can just click on something and get it done without having to type a bunch of stuff.

I used to watch those videos when I was a teenager, but looking back on them, they're really stupid and monotone.

we are selling my homes in florida and that money is going into a trust established by my grandpa before he died and after all of this is done, i will have to make a bank account and i will start getting monthly payments from the trust (or well 1/3rd of the trust because my grandpa set it up so i'd have 1/3rd at 25, 1/3rd at 30, and 1/3rd at 35)

i know $1500/mo ain't much but like...uhh i currently have 0 income at all so y'know having a small income is better than no income lmao

(and it's more than i'd get on disability if i end up approved for that, i'm pretty sure disability nets me like $900 a month AND i'd have to keep my assets below $2k to keep getting it)

Well glad to hear things are getting better.
Someone recently accused me of being anti-Christian which is hilarious because I literally am a Christian?

Oh yeah btw I'm a Christian IDK if y'all knew that, I mean you probably didn't, I'm a fairly recent convert (only been a few weeks) and I'm still studying Scripture but yeah.
So...it turns out that it wasn't an autism assessment per se and more just seeing a mental health therapist in general, of course I did mention 'Hey yeah I very strongly suspect I got autism'

Next appointment is in a month.

Hooray? (We didn't do anything today just asked me questions and that was it)
I feel like the Nintendo 64 is probably the only example of a console that had a large library and yet has no hidden gems.

To be fair this was the early days of 3d and as far as I know very few 2d games were made for the 64, it would've taken a while to develop 3d back then

@Sir Pentious It really had nothing to do with the development time, it was more the fact that there were so few companies actually releasing games on the platform.

Just to use a random month, as an example: September 1997, one year after the N64 came out in North America. In September 1997, there were a grand total of three games that came out on the N64 in North America.

Meanwhile there were 30 games released on the PS1 in North America during that same month. Because the PS1 actually had a large number of companies developing for the platform.

If Nintendo had managed to retain their third-party developers from the SNES in some form, no one would talk about the infamous N64 droughts.

In addition to alienating a lot of 3rd parties with their policies, the cartridges simply did not have enough space for what many devs wanted to do at the time
