    I find it interesting that Mike Tyson's Punch Out has not been sold for multiple decades but whenever Punch Out gets a shout out on a tv show or movie it's always that specific version

    Must have something to do with the fact that most of the writers for TV shows and movies grew up on Mike Tyson's Punch-Out so they're most familiar with that specific version of Punch-Out as a result, thus making it easier to choose a version of the game to work into their show or movie.
