My older cat sneezed on me and it startled me awake.
In the past, he's also screamed in my face and headbutted me in the throat. Both also startled me awake.
And it's my other cat's 1st birthday. Here's a picture of the troublemaker watching me sleep:
I slept for 15 hours today. Once I've been in bed for a certain amount of time, I just lose the will to get up and do something, resulting in days being wasted like this. This is probably tied to my depression that comes and goes.
Also, my side hurts. Probably related to sleeping for so long.
Difficult for me to give a top ten since my interests fluctuate so often, but the NBA 2K series, the Madden NFL series, and the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games are the ones I play the most frequently.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is probably my favorite Mario game.
I recently launched another Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door playthrough. This is after wrapping up a playthrough I recently resumed after years of not playing (I don't even remember what year it was when I started that file). Even got a wireless Gamecube controller that I've been playing with.
I've allowed this to have more of an effect on me than it should have. At the time, it severely damaged my confidence as an administrator. I think I'm better than I once was, but there are still so many what-ifs that go through my mind from time to time.
One that I haven't really touched on...
There should be a button that says "save page" at the bottom. Unless you're trying to edit something that is protected from new users/non-sysops, in which case you may have to wait.
In terms of the wiki/forum, I'd like to think I'm significantly more brave than I once was. There was a case of corruption in the adminstration that I didn't handle very well back in 2007 (I was 14 at the time). I feel like I'd have the courage to speak up if something like that happened today.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door -- I had an old file that had been sitting there for years, and I happened to be right near the end (Palace of Shadow), so I wrapped that up at long last.
It's a Dell, all-in-one. Wireless mouse and keyboard. I could go in to specifics. It's been years since I've had my own desktop, so I'm quite excited to have it. :D
Through photographic evidence, I've been able to confirm that me, my father, grandfather, great grandfather, and 2nd great grandfather all have the same nose.
The next step is finding a picture of my 3rd great grandfather (if there are any). He lived from 1851-1901.
Thanks guys, I was wondering what I was missing.
Also, thanks to whoever moved this here. I have a weird habit of putting everything in mindless junk lol.
I've run this through a search engine, but it just gives me a bunch of articles from December of 2016. Doesn't help that I'm somewhat out of the loop with Nintendo. But I'm trying to come back to this world!
Anyway, are these out yet?
Does anyone else have an interest in this subject? I've authored a few trees via ancestry.com, and I recently had my DNA tested through the website. The results came back today:
1. Great Britain: 38%
2. Finland/Northwest Russia: 21%
3. Scandinavia: 16%
4. Iberian Peninsula: 9%
5. Europe East...
Two major bits of news in my life:
1. I plan on going back to college at some point this year to become a veterinary assistant.
2. We are adopting a new dachshund puppy sometime this weekend. Her name will be Dorothy Rey. She will join three other dogs and two cats.
I just saw it for the third time.
This doesn't really have anything to do with the film, but holy smokes, the couple in front of me would not be quiet! Good thing I've seen the film more than once lol.
I'm already set to see the new film three times. Friday by myself, Saturday with my dad and his friend, and then again when my aunt sees it sometime over Christmas break.
This is normal for me.
11 years ago (on this day), I was editing Wookieepedia when I noticed that a user had announced he was leaving for the Super Mario Wiki. I checked out the website, and, liking what I saw, I signed up.
I didn't do much my first week, but after some frustrations with Wookieepedia, I began to look...
I think it's mainly because my younger brother has more severe autism than me. Because of that, I look like an average person in comparison.
Throughout my life, my parents were pre-occupied with my brother because he requires so much attention. The issues with me have always been there, they...
I have high-functioning autism, but I wasn't diagnosed until the age of 22.
I still wonder how different things would be if I had been diagnosed at a younger age. I've been told I should focus more on the future and less on the past, but it's difficult not to wonder "what if".
Tomorrow we will welcome Hank Dougie Jones the orange cat to the family, and on Saturday, we will be picking up Winnie the golden-doodle from the Providence airport! Pictures to come soon, will post in the pets thread.
This is a collage that currently hangs in my room:
With the exception of Peanut Penelope (who was only in my care for two months), each pet has more than one photo on there.
*Darth Vader -- A black cat. (1996-2010) Lived up to his name (very grumpy), but warmed up to me in his later years...
On May 6th, we said goodbye to Chloe, our dachshund of eleven years. Her health had been declining over the past two years. She was a diabetic, blind, and the other day she had multiple seizures (doctor's think it may have been the result of a stroke). Because of this, we had to let her go to...
I once lost a life in Super Mario 64 because of a Goomba. I think it was Bowser in the Dark World? I went to jump kick one, nailed it, but flew backwards off the stage.
I volunteer at a dog shelter, and this dog was my favorite resident. Her name is Evie, and I'm happy to say she was adopted on Thanksgiving day of last year. She's a Great Pyrenees (not sure if purebred), and is very sweet. I got in contact with her new family recently, and they absolutely adore...
Hi guys, hope all is well. I wanted to say something.
I've struggled with depression/lack of interest in recent years, but I'm trying to find my way out of this rut. Part of it is getting back to doing what I love, and the wiki used to be a big part of that.
I'm going to try to make more of an...
I want so badly for this demon to be excised.
I was not into football when Super Bowl 42 happened. I've only heard stories from my father. I can only imagine the pain of a loss of that magnitude.
The year of Super Bowl 46 was my second year as a football fan. I remember thinking at the time...
Borderline ambidextrous, although I think the proper term for someone like me is cross-dominant. Depends on the situation. I write with my right, but I primarily operate my laptop and open bottles/cans with my left hand.
I think breaking my collarbone in my right shoulder forced me to become...
Peter Cushing always spoke well of Star Wars, and had stated that he wanted to appear in more of the films. Based on that, I assume he would have happily appeared himself if he were alive now. Because of that, use of his likeness doesn't bother me. His estate was reportedly involved heavily...
