Thanks guys! :)
Yeah, that's my other cousin, Tristan. He was playing my dad's phone and also wanted to photobomb the picture LOL.
LOL. Most of my general apparel is Celtics related. I love my team.
Politicians say stupid things all the time (regardless of party), so I'm not overly surprised by this.
Anyway, I usually lean to the right on political issues, but as a person who has OCD, I hate this idea.
I've had a drink or two before, but not enough to get intoxicated. I didn't really care for it, so I doubt I'll do it again.
Never tried hard drugs of any kind. I have no interest in that type of thing. I do take medication for my anxiety/OCD, but I don't really think of it like that.
Re: Please discuss your recent wonderful accomplishments here
Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm going to do.
Also, here's the text he sent me:
As you can see, grammar is not a strength of his.
Re: Please discuss your recent wonderful accomplishments here
I wouldn't mind making peace with him, but I think this is the end. He stopped talking to me after my ex and I split anyway.
Re: Please discuss your recent wonderful accomplishments here
Drama with an ex-friend of mine... Basically him and my ex-girlfriend said a bunch of negative things about me behind my back. They said that I was spoiled, and didn't have a clue about whatever (women maybe? Don't know exactly what...
I was the Dark Lord of the Sith (could use Force lightning and everything). Then Harry Potter boarded my ship in an effort to destroy me. Just as he was about to finish me off after defeating me in a vicious duel, a battalion of my troops arrived and gunned him down. I went on to conquer the...
Re: pretend you did (x) thing in the past few weeks and try to call it noteworthy
It does. I had high hopes for us, but we just weren't very compatible as a couple (I'm very affectionate, she's not, etc.).
We're still friends (somewhat), but it just hurts to see it end after all the fun we...
Re: pretend you did (x) thing in the past few weeks and try to call it noteworthy
My (now ex) girlfriend and I broke up today. It was mutual, but I'm still very sad to see it end.
This is my first non-single Valentine's day. My girlfriend and I are going out to dinner, then back to my place to watch a movie.
I got her a stuffed bear and some chocolates. I can't wait to give them to her.
Re: See, it's like I can have a leg in one hand, and a BRERB in the other! (wntdydt)
Going on a second date with my girlfriend tonight. First out to dinner, then back to my place to watch a movie.
Re: See, it's like I can have a leg in one hand, and a BRERB in the other! (wntdydt)
It went well. I was very nervous, but she wants to see me again, so... :)
BTW, thanks guys. I appreciate the support.
Re: See, it's like I can have a leg in one hand, and a BRERB in the other! (wntdydt)
I'm going on my first date tonight. Very excited, but a little nervous too.
It is, but I suppose it's just something I'll have to get through.
To a related point, my cat sneezes a lot (not sure why, been this way his whole life). He can create quite a mess, which is partly why I'm so paranoid about my TV's cleanliness. Don't get me wrong; I love him, but his messes...
My OCD has become worse in recent months. It's hard for me to even play video games now because I'm so paranoid about the cleanliness of my TV screen. I spent over an hour and a half cleaning it the other day.
I recently had my medication switched, so hopefully that will help.
I have an ancestry.com tree, so I've got quite a bit of information for all of my great-grandparents.
Four were alive when I was born, and I met three of them (all at a very young age). The last one to go was my dad's paternal grandfather (1916-2006). Regrettably, I only met him in person once...
That's true, unfortunately. While I think police presence would help, I don't expect it to be an infallible solution (sadly, I don't think there is one).
Saying that having a few police officers in a school makes it a "miniature police state-slash-airport security station" is an exaggeration in my opinion.
OK?
I said that the current system is too easily exploited, not that welfare itself is a terrible thing.
I'm not interested in a debate...
I don't have any problem with doing more to prevent convicted criminals or the mentally ill from acquiring a firearm (as long as it does not restrict law-abiding citizens from exercising their Constitutional right, which is difficult to do). The reasoning behind my suggestion was that it usually...
I'm well aware that it would take federal funding. In my opinion, though, school security is actually worth it, unlike many of the other things that the government currently spends tax-payers money on (such as our welfare system that's too easily exploited). Personally, I would rather take the...
Personally, I would like to see school security improved by having police officers stationed on the premises at all times, or something of that nature. Had police been there from the start, they could have stopped the perpetrator before he had harmed anyone. It may have even discouraged him from...
That's one way to describe it. I look at the forum from time-to-time, and this topic caught my attention because I followed the election closely.

I'm sorry, that's the most creative reply I can think of at the moment. Nice to see everybody again.
On a semi-related note, I...
I voted for Mitt Romney, so I'm not particularly happy right now. But, to quote Romney himself (his concession speech): "This is a time of great challenges for America, and I pray that the president will be successful in guiding our nation."
Good luck, Mr. President.
