Mr. Miyamoto was in charge of converting a bunch of Radar Scope arcade machines into a new game, as Radar Scope was failing in the states. So he developed Donkey Kong (basically on his own), and the rest is history.
Waluigi tried to steal all of them, but he only got one. The other three flew off in different directions. After Mario recovered al four, Bowser swooped down and stole all of them.
A Super Mario Fanon Wiki would be perfect for people to submit their species ideas. They could develop histories, abilities, traits, etc. The species don't have to be silly either - it could be a serious fanon.
Mario is also somewhat cocksure and arrogant, and sometimes has a bit of a temper. One of the funniest moments in SMRPG is when the young boy Gaz states Mario needs all the help he can get after Geno joins the team, and Mallow has to restrain Mario from punching the kid right in the face!
Interesting that in the Nintendo Power Awards for 1996, Bowser was nominated for best Hero and worst Villain. He lost to Boba Fett and Mario, unrespectively.
Mew was the first promotional Pokemon released after the original 150, thus it would be 151. :P
From an in-universe persepctive, maybe Mewtwo was researched by the general Pokemon community before Mew, who was very obscure and liked to remain hidden. DNA doesn't explain behavior. Also...
Smithy wanted to conquer the world, filling it with weapons while removing the power of wishes that would challenge his authority. Mack managed to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom, indicating that the plan was not to destroy the world, merely rule it with an iron (no pun intended) fist.
Virtual Console games are for all intents and purposes the original games. In fact, you can even go to the Minus World in the VC version of Super Mario Bros.!
Toad was introduced in Super Mario Bros. 2. There were Mushroom Retainers in Super Mario Bros., but none of them were called Toad. There were lots of people that wore mushroom caps in Super Mario RPG, but they were not called Toads. Until then, they were just Mushroom people. Paper Mario changed...
Well, we have three options:
1. Keep all Banjo/Conker content as is.
2. Put a special template on all Banjo/Conker articles, indicating their "lesser" significance somehow.
3. Delete all Banjo/Conker articles.
I think DK Vine is trying to preserve Rare franchises in general. Any connection that can be made works for them. They admit their views are contraversial, but that's how they want to operate.
I am so glad that DKC came out for the VC. I think a lot of this Rare-less stuff may be rumors, and just may change in time. Keep your fingers crossed!
Okay. Here's a challenge. Go to the Mario Wiki and hit random article ten times. Record each article that pops up. Then write a short fan fic incorporating all 10 articles. You can even use the articles for research for your fan fic! Post your fabulous creations below!
Note that the beaver's name is Gnawty (it's not a species)- it could be a cameo. Link and Samus have appeared in SMRPG, but we don't write articles about everything in those series. Goombas and Lakitus have appeared in the Legend of Zelda, so that means Zelda is a part of the Marioverse, right...
Well, if you wanted to, your own fan universe could be a complete parody of the Marioverse. Everyone gets their own space to make their own fan works, including parodies.
Yeah, I agree. Banjo and Conker (the characters) are on the fringes of the Marioverse. However, anything that has appeared in their universes, like Gruntilda and Gregg, may be clearly distinguished as seperate from the Marioverse.
If DKR DS is a sequel - yes, they belong in the Marioverse and the wiki.
If DKR DS is a remake - no, they no longer belong in the Marioverse and the wiki (but should probably spin-off into a Banjo-Conker wiki).
Definately an X-Naut. Now that the Secret Society of the X-Nauts is basically a defunct organization, this X-Naut joins Mario in his search to find new meaning in his life. In the end, he takes of his mask, and journeys on his own after thanking Mario for his help in the struggle to find the one...
The difference between Wario, Yoshi, DK, Banjo, and Conker versus all the other series mentioned is that the former came from the Mario series. Zelda, Starfy, Pac-Man, and Bomberman were all established series before they intereacted with the Marioverse. Those classify as cross-overs, and only...
Well, maybe instead of a "fake" Mario wiki, a Mario fanon wiki could be created. Users will be able to write their own articles about anything they want, and make up their own storylines that can't be confirmed by official sources. No one can edit another user's article unless they ask for...
