It's definitely not as controversial as he thinks. Sometimes it doesn't even get brought up in discussions about the game.
Also, I don't mind the waggle controls.
E. Gadd would be much more of a surprise than Waluigi, and I was specifically referring to unexpected characters. People kinda do expect Daisy, Wario, and Waluigi to be playable in a main game, but certainly not E. Gadd.
So, I was thinking about the next "surprise" character for the next 3D Mario game, and... what would you guys think of Professor E. Gadd being a playable character in the next 3D title? Not sure what his ability would be, but I'd personally like to see him being promoted to playable. I'd also...
He's probably referring to how such a serious character like Rosalina is playable in a game where she can be defeated by Goombas, meow as a cat, etc. I don't think it ruined her character though.
I personally like NSMB2, reused assets from the Wii version and everything. It is a very fun and enjoyable game that kept me playing for quite a while, even if it may seem a tad on the easy side.
Also, an unpopular opinion is that I like the "BAH"s added to the tower and castle tunes for NSMB2.
I absolutely love pretty much every song from the trilogy, including the soundtrack for the GBA remake of the third game. Yes, even the yodeling version of "Frosty Frolics."
The amount of spaces is not the only problem with this board. They also would have to make the boosters much less overpowered, maybe give Rosalina an actual role in the board instead of just appearing to clap in the end and give it a more interesting route rather than a line with a slight curve...
Hey, have you ever managed to win in the Rocket Road board? If you do, props to you. Good lord, that board is a stinking, ridibrockiculous piece of garbage.
I've won at least once in all boards (even Banzai Bill's Mad Mountain, which I thought would be difficult to win due to its short size)...
Not really. I stated it here because this is an anti-Island Tour thread, so I posted my opinions about the game and why it's not as bad as you think IMO.
I personally think Mario Party: Island Tour is a lot of fun, even with a few gameplay problems and the worst board in Mario Party history, Rocket Road. The minigames are really fun to play and I liked the "Hot-Air Hijinks" mode.
Am I the only one who would actually love to go through every stage with every character? On all three files? I'd gladly do that if it means an excuse to play the game a lot. =P
But I need a Wii U first... :sadzebra:
For the love of chiz, calm down. He was just casually stating that Yoshi hasn't appeared much in the main platformer games, you don't need to shout at someone whenever they mention Yoshi and his relevance to the games.
Re: Mario Kart 8
If they must include Lakitu, then please give him the voice he had in Mario Party 9 instead of his obnoxious crappy MK7 voice. I've watched a video of a delevoper interview of MK7 where they showed a brief clip of Lakitu racing, and he had a more normal voice. Why did they feel...
Not once did I see a Yoshi fan insulting Mario in this thread. I only recall seeing a user calling Mario "abusive", and he/she didn't like Yoshi, so there's no need to act like a jerk and insult Yoshi like that.
Do you think he might be the possible fifth playable character for this game? I think it would be pretty cool, although they might not add him as playable because only DK is playable in Single Player, and it would be weird to see Funky mount DK like the other lightweight sidekick kongs.
Re: Mario Kart 8
So, the babies got in after all. The only truly annoying one in my opinion is Baby Mario, so I can put up with the others, and I hope Baby Daisy's voice clips here are as funny as they were in Mario Kart Wii.
