Super Mario Bros. on the NES was my first video game, and therefore first Mario game. Although I don't recall any memories playing it then. My first memories of Mario games is with Mario 2 and 3 (idr which was an earlier memory).

Kirby's Adventure. It was my first Kirby game and I have so many memories with it. Although my first video game was Super Mario Bros., I don't have nostalgic feelings toward it.

Personally I would prefer a new unique title as opposed to any ports, but if I had to pick I'd say maybe Color Splash because I dont care enough about it to get it on Wii U but if it was on Switch then I'd be more open to get it.

He means the age will update every year and not be able to be changed on UP That said, you could just have your DOB instead and then it won't have to be updated every year and stay correct every year. If people want to figure out your exact age from that they can just calculate it.
