It's been mentioned on the Discord that our affiliates banners are outdated, to say the least. These are not so noticeable as other banners so they completely flew under the radar here, but I think it would be good to get a new affiliates banner. Would anyone like to undertake this task?

Because creating a lower tier does not diminish the distinction of being a Featured Article, that's why. Because 1,000 is a round number.

It's not looser requirements, Good Articles will have to fully meet criteria 1 to 10 as established in MarioWiki:Featured articles, the only difference is that they can be shorter articles (like Culex and others). GA's won't go in the Main Page.
