It's rather surprising, but yeah it can happen. And sludge metal would be really interesting without that stupid metal growling voice... Like Sunn O))) is really cool until the guy starts talking.

Post-rock is pure brilliance. Sigur Rós, Mogwai, This Will Destroy You, Godspeed You! Black Emperor... I could go on. It's amazing. Oh, check out post-metal bands like Isis too. They're interesting.

Mad popularity is usually a huge downer for any band in my opinion. Like, I hate almost all super-popular artists out there, with a few exceptions. Obscurity in my mind is wonderful. :P

Hmmm... Mew's pretty obscure in the States, actually. Even those with unusual taste in music don't know them at all... Oh well. Gliss is fun.

Shoegaze is awesome. But there are quite a few totally unknown shoegaze artists out there... Check out the song "Saviours of Jazz Ballet" by Mew and the band Gliss. I could find so very many more on my iTunes if you're interested...

Movie number six was quite good. Chopped up, of course, but great nonetheless. The acting is magnificent, particularly with Professor Slughorn. As for the books... I need to read them all again. :P
