I see The Lost Levels as more analogous to the Special Worlds in 3D Land, being a similar tale on a parallel world that still takes place after the first.
I see Galaxy 2 as the actual sequel to Galaxy 1 though, the universe did get remade, after all.
As for parallel worlds in general, they...
I'd say NSMB and NSMBWii were great, as shown by the fact that they revived 2D plataforming on mainstream consoles. The sad thing is that the series grew stagnant after that, with 2 and U being rehashes. They're not bad by any means though, they, for me, have far surpassed the originals
Ah, little kids aren't interested in Mario around here anymore ;-;
Most of them like GTA or the like >.> or don't play video games at all. When did my country's children go wrong?
(Yes, I skipped the whole thread)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (and the Rebuild movies)
Blood+
Fate/Zero
Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works (NOT THE MOVIE)
Fate/Kaleid Liner: Prisma Illya
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Spirited Away

Another one? Ugh.
Well, if they'll revamp stuff and make it more skill and less luck dependent, as well as having good minigames and interactive stages, I'll give it a shot.
If it's gonna be another rehash only with free movement, I want all the NdCube folks to get fired already.
Ah, I hope they won't screw this up ;-; I like the Paper Mario series, and I like the fact that they moved from TTYD's gameplay, which to be honest, would feel more like a M&L rehash at this point. My hopes aren't very high atm though, they'd better do something about all the Toads, add more...
Add deeper stat and part customization (and balance), custom emblems, add more items and an option of changing how you want them to appear (completely random or the usual "the lower you are the better items you get")
A Double Dash mode, where you use 2 characters on one kart like on MKDD <3...
Well, that's odd, there's no mention of them locking registrations anywhere I've looked O_o
Oh, I'm from the Zelda forum, and I can't register on the Zelda Wiki, either. Hopefully a staff member will answer your question over there :3
I'd say no. Stylized art ages much, much better than photorealistic art, just compare how Zelda WW and Zelda TP have aged compared to each other.
Not only that, but making characters and textures in the Mushroom Kingdom photorealistic would send them straight to crossing the uncanny valley...
Hello :D as you can see, I'm FrozenDragon150 (feel free to call me Frozen, or Dragon or whatever :P)
I found this forum on the Mario wiki (as I'm sure many others have, right?)
Cool to meet you all, hope we get along :3
