I picked Luigi because I remember using him more, but I might have used Peach as well.
By the way, Toad is the best character for speedrunning, because of his fast grabbing and throwing.
That's an extreme case (and a bit funny). Braid (the game) could be considered a bit more realistic, and that was alright. I guess it would be an artistic kind of game.
What about a more realistic Mario game? There have been plenty of reimaginings of more realistic images, and I think it would make for an interesting game. Nintendo certainly wouldn't get behind it though.
What would it be like? Perhaps an adult themed FPS? Or a MMORPG? How do you think you'd like to see the characters?
I wouldn't mind a slightly darker game, kinda like the sharp contrast between Shroobified areas and the regular areas in Mario and Luigi Partners in Time.
He's going to be playable. Other than the fact that he hasn't shown up in any pictures yet (I don't think), there's absolutely no reason he wouldn't be included. He always has been. I'm sure there are other characters that haven't shown up yet that are regulars too.
Men can be cross dressers. That's what Nintendo wanted Birdo to be before the American version. It's not as big a deal in Japan as it is in the U.S.
As funny as this quote was, no.
Also, STOP BEING OFF TOPIC. Birdo is one of the few characters from Super Mario Bros. 2 (not sure why), and...
I'd much rather play as Koopa Troopa over Wario. Besides, you only like his quotes, so why do you want him in?
That being said, he's gonna be playable. I see no reason why they wouldn't put him in.
Okay, but because you said that Super Mario Bros. 3 was overrated, and that you didn't mention its influence at all, one could assume that you were talking about how the game was overrated and not considering the influence at all. That's exactly why I made my post. Many people probably...
The game flopped? I thought the game was a success. Why else would they have made sequels?
I really don't think they forgot about any of the characters (the fans won't let them). I'm assuming they don't want to use some characters.
Probably because good things don't tend to tramatize people. I'm not an expert in psychology or anything, but bad things tend to shake up what you though you could do, and keeps you in check. When good things happen to you, it tends to be an "easy way out" (for lack of a better term), so you...
*obligatory Shroob statement goes here*
I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to do something with the new galaxies they've created. Super Mario Galaxy Racing?
This is called the "Mario Kart Syndrome," otherwise known as the "CPU advantage." It's more frequent in Mario Kart Wii, but it can happen in any game. (I'm totally making this up)
That's really strange to get a Blue Shell in second place. Though, Green Shells are very useful.
I wouldn't say that demands for him to be in a new game. The way you described him makes him seem like Waluigi (in a way), and I think he would be a better candidate for a better role.
Unless he was in some kind of starship racing thing. That might work.
What almost everyone else said. There is no way Super Mario Galaxy 2 deserves a higher score than the first one.
Other than that, I can't really think of any games that are praised too much. Games like Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3 come to mind, but those where influencial games...
That was my favorite course from Mario Kart Double Dash. Extremely simple, but it still felt unique from all of the other courses. If they bring that back, it needs to have more laps. Three laps isn't enough to enjoy it.
I'm only picking Mario Golf because the series doesn't have much going for it in terms of unique gameplay. Every other spin-off series has something different that sets it apart from other sports games, but the Mario Golf games just have new courses and players.
Three headed snakes and bomb throwing mice aren't any more creative than musician based Koopas. It's fine if you think that the Koopalings aren't creative, but don't throw that out as a fact. Just because they "still toss magic at you" doesn't mean the bosses were not still unique. Their...
The fact that they have been in more games than one is proof that Nintendo is willing to use them as at least bosses. The fact that they were featured in Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is evidence that other developers are willing to use them. The fact that Miyamoto spent more time developing...
