If that's the case, Super Mario Kart has some pretty good music too. It's title theme, the Battle Mode theme, and Rainbow Road are easily my favorites. No wonder why a segment of the main theme was incorporated into MK8's.

That's because for whatever reason Nintendo tends to (from my observations) treat all the Koopalings as one character instead of seven; as a result, not a lot of personality is developed for each of them individually, meanwhile Bowser Jr. takes home the gold.
