That's what happened the first time I made it too! The third course is probably the hardest, both because of the level itself and that to even get to try it, you need to beat the first 2 levels. :-\

Course 2 and 3 were harder, the first one was about the same.

I got to play NSMBU yesterday and it was pretty fun. Being the person with the Game Pad was great because I could choose to help people or make it harder on them. All in all, it was pretty fun. If you want to know more about something (controls, how the graphics look, levels, etc.) just ask.

I just managed to get over 7,000 coins in 1-1 by using a gold flower to repeatedly kill the goomba tower at the end.

I got 10,000 coins on those levels too.

I have played through world 1 and done coin rush a couple times and I managed to get over 50,000 coins and I have 176 lives. :o It took me the longest to find the second star coin in 1 - Fortress.

Maybe the bar just wouldn't disappear until everyone touches it.

That would be nice, however we've already seen that there will be a flagpole at the end.

Yes it has. They talked about it in an Iwata asks video before the game was released. The interesting thing is that the mii has a special driving style (banana blitzer, aviator, drift wizard, etc.). Your style is listed in the Mario Kart channel.
