He's not one of my absolute favourite characters, but I do really like him for comedy value. We do have a weird thing that we've started though where we always use Waluigi for the first playthrough of Mario Party story modes though.

A proper new Mario Kart (i.e. not a simplified micro-transaction filled mobile game or port). Something that combines some of the best parts of each of the other games and sorts out some of the issues, and has a decent roster with minimal clones.

It depends if you count controllable but not necessarily selectable teammates, because if you do they did it in 2016 3DS. Daisy had a team of five differently-coloured Birdos as her football teammates that can be controlled, and Birdo the character was playable in Archery.

I definitely agree that the soundtracks are great. Most of the remixes are good, though some of the 2014 ones are questionable, but I also like a lot of the main tracks too. I'd say that the main themes (The ones that go alongside the openings) are all really nice.

In Speed Skating 500m in 2010 Wii, each character type requires a different number of perfectly timed swings in a row to perform a dash. Also Waluigi has a funny losing animation in this event where he falls over, but I can't find a video of it at the moment.

My favourite sport to play is definitely field archery (There's something really fun about shooting the 3D animal targets), though to watch I quite like gymnastics and diving when they're on.
