A little Pocahontas figure, which finally means I have at least one of every Disney Princess in my little figure collection. It's only taken me, what, about 10 years?
Personally, I'm very happy that Daisy's in Smash, even as a Peach clone (Fortunately I like Peach's moveset anyway), but I think some of the little touches like the flowers and stuff that come with her are nice inclusions which make her not a 100% clone. I didn't even think she had a chance...
If you're talking about the treehouse stream, then yeah, I think it is, they were probably playing near to the Smash Bros. thing. I picked up on it too.
If the options were Toad and Toadette or MC Ballyhoo, I'd pick Toad and Toadette to be hosts just to keep him out of it, but I do think it's stupid that they're not playable. Saying that though, they could take a page out of his book and just create someone completely new, we haven't actually...
I hope with this one that the Toad Scramble-style thing isn't the only kind of board gameplay, because I really don't think it's as interesting as either classic or car gameplay. I also hope that there isn't too much stuff if any that you need multiple Switches for, I really hope that's just the...
Wow, Bowser is properly playable, I was kind of expecting that but yay it actually happened. Also Goomba and Pom Pom appear to be playable, I was really not expecting Goomba (Come on, Goomba has to be in Mario Kart 9 now), and Pom Pom, I would never have guessed her in a million years. They seem...
Yeah, it does, off the top of my head I know that Toad Harbour gets the U and I'm fairly sure the Toad in New Super Mario Bros. U said favourite. It comes with the different names for stuff that get really confusing when I'm on the wiki, like Alpine Pass and Rock Rock Mountain. I've probably...
Definitely the Super Bell. Everyone looks cuter wearing cat suits (With the exception of Bowser, he just looks ridiculous), the ability to just climb to the top of the flagpole is really useful, as is climbing up walls, the claw jump can let you cut out huge sections of levels and the claw...
Hi all, just thought I'd let you know in case of a rare occasion you wonder where I've gone, I'm going on holiday until Friday and I don't know what the wi-fi situation at the accommodation's going to be like, so I'm probably not going to be back around until sometime Friday evening, but you...

Yeah, I'm not particularly familiar with the arcade games so I wasn't aware of that course's existence. It does look nice though, it's be something good to see in the main series.
I'm not really very familiar with how lighting and stuff works in games, so I didn't know about that headlight...
I imagine probably the most time-consuming part of it would be (Excluding if the enemies, obstacles, weather, etc. change depending on the time) making separate textures for parts that would need to be different in the day/night, for example, lights being on/off, but I doubt that'd be too hard...
I think that would be a great idea! They could probably do it similarly to Animal Crossing, without the seasons changing, just the time of day, but having different obstacles on the track (i.e. Mr Resetti doesn't show up in winter, leaf piles appear in autumn).
That's another new artwork for Peach as well, isn't it? She seems to be getting a lot.
I'm fairly sure that's what's going happen. It'll probably finish with some fairly big match against Luigi with the special racket, Mario'll win that, the racket will be broken and Luigi will be saved but...
I did not realise that the Birthday Girl is a shoe.
I also noticed that Wario and Waluigi have pointy trainers in Mario Tennis Aces:
Do you think that means their actual feet are pointy?
Re: The Official Birthday Thread - April 7 - NEXandGBX - 16 - Javelin
Happy late birthdays to everyone I missed, and happy actual birthday to TheFlameChomp!
Moths and butterflies, and when I just randomly break down crying and I don't know why and I can't stop. It's happened three times in the last two days.
So, I was just thinking about what's likely to come back as a retro course in the next Mario Kart game. I reckon Yoshi Desert and/or Sunset Wilds from Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mushroom City from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Toad's Factory from Mario Kart Wii all seem like fairly likely...
I was just playing Mario Kart Wii and I noticed that Luigi sometimes says thank you to Lakitu after he's been rescued. I think that's pretty cute. :luigi:
I was just going to ask if anyone else thought he was breathing fire! I want to see the full-sized version of that, it looks pretty cool. I think the Wario and Luigi artworks are new too.
Of the ones I've played (Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart 8 ), I'd say Mario Kart 8's the best and Mario Kart DS is the worst, just because it never seems that much fun to play.
Personally, I quite like Calibri, and although you can't really type with it, Webdings and Wingdings 1-3 are great, particularly if you want to have more interesting bullet points without having to go through the hassle of finding and using an image online.
If I'm drawing text, I like to use...
English natively and I've done German at school for the past five years, so I'm alright at that. I've done French in the past but can only remember random words and how to conjugate one verb (And I don't even know what the verb means), I also did Spanish but can only remember a few random words...
I think that's pretty cool, actually. You don't tend to see a lot of animatronics with separately moving eyebrows, as far as I know. And there are much creepier animatronics than that around.
Yeah, everyone else gets speech, the other playable characters, the extra ones to add to the plot (Kamek, Lakitu, Espio, etc.), even the Dry Bones that just makes non-translated clacking sounds. Seriously, he gets a speech bubble just to go "Clackity-clack" but Mario and Luigi get a Toad. It's...
