I'd only be making 3 damage to Bonetail per round and would have to superguard nearly 100 times. I doubt I can be that consistent. EDIT: W/ Jumpman I could power bounce for 1 damage per jump. I'd probably equip Simplifier to get a good 6-10 damage in per round. That still leaves me with 20-60...

Thinking about it now though it makes sense - if they were available early, that leaves an easy way to freelance through the game. Getting 300 piantas from the Plane Game only takes 15-45 min if you know how to land on x2 squares consistently

Exactly. The game rigs it for you to get back on track almost immediately (you don't have to use Stylish moves to get your audience back). So you can go all out of big FP moves at the start for major damage.

Yeah, the shadows of characters running across the bottom-right and top-left screen wasn't as great as a real parade. The Mushroom Kingdom could appreciate Mario for saving it, but Rogueport couldn't appreciate him for saving the world. ;)
