I've said this elsewhere, but I think the Super Mario 64 re-release is a missed opportunity if they didn't include a multiplayer mode using the Luigi model that was present in the source code all along. It would have fulfilled the game's original vision.

Me too, in all honesty! I really only missed out on the GameCube era by a couple of years when I was younger. I could have played it on my Wii, but never got around to purchasing a copy.

There was definitely a lot of potential in the Ruined Kingdom, and I was almost convinced Isle Delfino would be DLC, as in this map it's visible whereas in-game I think the same area is covered by a cloud. Also, the champagne-bottle and the entire continent below wasn't seen either. I think DLC...

During quarantine my sister and I went back to 100% Super Mario Galaxy 2. Apart from that my Wii hasn’t run very hot the last couple of years. I’m considering modding it to freely play GCN games.

We harked back to Italian roots the other day and made spinach fettuccine from scratch, finished with a simple tomato-basil sauce. So good!
