Watched an ep of K-On! for the first time. The visuals are appealing and the soundtrack is awesome, but I was put off by the moeness. Especially Yui. Yeesh.
Overall, I think I'm going to continue, if only for some of the humor and music. The characters are pretty archetypal, ya know? Not...
Come watch comedy anime with me.
I've got three first-episodes of shows lined up, come add your own.
Let's make this a party.

I haven't watched this yet, for fear of spoilers, but you crazy kids can have at it.

Finally watched FLCL. It blew me away. The atmosphere, soundtrack, surrealism, it all resonated with me really, really well. At the moment it's my third favorite anime.
Well, seeing as Majora's Mask is my favorite video game, yes, yes I would like Majora's Mask 3D.
Though, if they made an HD version for Wii U I would probably have a happiness heart attack. Just seeing that fanmade demo blew me away. Imagine how atmospheric and incredible that could be!
What you define as an "attack" is interesting, Baby Luigi. As a third party person reading the conversation, the comment that Luigidaisy made about Sticker Star seemed pretty level-headed and unoffensive to me.
Honestly, it looks as if you were the one looking for an argument in the first...
Re: pretend you did (x) thing in the past few weeks and try to call it noteworthy
I watched Guardians Of The Galaxy yesterday. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Had a very nice fusion of space opera and retro soundtrack.
Two teams. One hat-based war simulator. The crazy people of Mario Boards.
Hell yeah.
Starts at 7:00 PM Central Time this Saturday. Will go to roughly 9:00 PM Central Time.
Post or PM me your Steam ID if you'd like to participate. If you'd like to tell me the main class or classes you'll be...
Re: pretend you did (x) thing in the past few weeks and try to call it noteworthy
Rewatched "Alien" again today.
That movie is tense and horrifying.
The visual and sound design of the film as it begins is very murky, very industrial. It makes a perfect setting for what's to come later on in...
As long as we're talking about the overhyped but ultimately deservedly so Bioshock Infinite:
I love every scene with these two. And the music is the delicious icing on the cake.
I need to get another copy of it
I played it as a kid and I've had major nostalgia for it ever since
Today I discovered it has a bit of a reputation.
What's Dinosaurs For Hire?
I disagree, sir.
Peach is airheaded and rather useless.
Daisy is sporty and tomboyish.
They both have personalities, one is just more appealing to a lot of users here.
Seems to be the result of the cultural tendency towards hating cultural tendencies like the "helpless maiden" character...
Somebody needs to summarize the anti-Pink Gold argument for me right here, right now
'Cause I don't understand why everyone's jimmies are rustled about it
Opinion, I love the hell out of the DS version. It's almost everything I'd want in a Mario game, besides meaningful co-op and a Sunshine spiritual sequel.
*Obligatory Sticker Star defense left out for your convenience*
I love the quotes on the back.
'Enjoy the "stache"'
Hehehehehehehe
'Play with your friends'
Hehehehehehehe
Good marketing, it caters to my interests perfectly: terrible puns and mild sexual innuendo.
Honestly? I'd like a new Valve IP. Half-Life 3 has been so built up and hyped for years that there is no way it isn't going to be a colossal disappointment. (although likely a later "cult hit")
Examples? You can PM them if you want. I'm actually curious.
I'm not saying the game was great, but I don't think it deserves to be so maligned either.
I think Jigglypuff is really fun as a jokey "did you really just kick my ass with that" character, but I agree that its time to move on to other things. 'Course, I'm of the camp that we have too much Pokemon representation already anyway, so I wouldn't be too disappointed to see Mewtwo skipped over.
I enjoyed the first on the DS a lot, it really did feel like an updated Super Mario Bros and had a nice charm. I feel like the others have solid gameplay and some nice environments, but the aesthetic just isn't there for me.
Not to mention the multiplayer, which basically requires everyone to...
1. I'm not gonna buy a copy of Windows 7; I might as well buy a PS3.
2. My dad won't let me partition his Macbook anyway.
Hey, it's still helpful. I appreciate it.
I run on a Mac. I love the OS, but it locks me out of a couple really good games I'd like to play.
Hey, thank you very much for the advice. I'll put it to good use. If I ever have any other questions I'll definitely come to you first, since you seem to be somewhat of an authority on the subject.
Alright, shveet, thank you very much.
Yeah, I would totally get Skyrim (and Fallout 3 for that matter) but I would need a PS3 first. Ideally I'll be able to get a job this summer and save up for one. So if that pans out I'll definitely pick up a copy of Skyrim.
So I recently picked up a copy of Morrowind for my original Xbox and I am loving the atmosphere and open world feel. I've never really touched the series before (though I have, of course, heard lots and lots about Skyrim) and I was wondering if there were any franchise veterans on this forum who...
