Well, a seemingly cute girl suddenly turning to a demon spider by cracking her neck to twist your head 180 degrees has more scares than a giant clown Luigi.
I wonder why out of all the Crystal Stars, why was Gold Star named after a metal instead of a gemstone like the others. Unless they think...
I'm Canadian.
How come in TTYD, when Mario dies, it's game over? But when the partner faints, they get up after the battle. One would think they would continue on like in Mario and Luigi, but instead, they're rather a bunch of defeatists.
Yeah, Romeo and Juliet is overrated, I prefer Midsummer or Othello.
People tend to treat the plots of Paper Mario games as if it were a very deep and philosophical tale, putting on a high level more than it needs to be. It's kinda like writing a twenty page essay on the ingredients and...
When I replayed TTYD, I feel that Chapters 2 to 4 was my least favorite playing through. I like the first chapter and the prologue, and everything after 4 is great, with 5 being my most favorite chapter.
For Chapter 2: Having to climb up multiple sections of the tree while you have to navigate...
Yeah. The Mario Bros obviously serve Peach. But I wonder if Wario and Waluigi will be for the highest bidder. I wonder what kind of strategy would work. Like would their be an overworld map where you claim territories or something in the lines of Starcraft/Company of Heroes?
It would be cool if Mario has a RTS game. Like Mushroom Kingdom as one faction, The Koopa Kingdom on another, Beanbean Kingdom, Sarasaland and the like.
Well, with enough dedication and skill. I guess it's something we can do ourselves. I'm toying with making a fan game involving the less explored parts of the Marioverse. Sarasaland mainly.
I agree about the partners. I never like the fact they're all introduced and forgotten by next game. Why not make Daisy a partner?
@Petey, Vivian and Bobbbery does have an interesting point, but most partners are as compelling as plain oatmeal.
How about getting into some dogfights in the Sky Pop?
@Striker Mario: I'm game for it. But Daisy shouldn't be kidnapped just for Luigi to save her. It would only enforce the clone argument.
Since when did Luigi save her? (Which I would detest if they did that) Mario saved her in SML1. Honestly I feel she has potential, but apparently Nintendo doesn't like incorporating spin-off elements into the main game.
Wart? The toad that chokes on vegetables?
You left out Chapter 4's constant trips between Twilight Town and Creepy Steeple. Otherwise, it's one of the better RPGs.
@Samus: The revelation that the treasure box after beating the Shadow Queen only had a dried shroom?
