Let's face it, mechs are just cool. [size=3pt]Especially when they have giant claws.

They're both great. I'd say the second has an advantage with Yoshi and some cool level ideas, but overall the first one wins out with plot and just sheer originality factor.

The best character, Giant Claw! Seriously, probably Captain Toad, Fawful, and Olimar because I'm insane and actually like the non-Mario characters. Also, I don't see how putting characters in a dropdown would change anything. They'd still be there.

I think Luigi is popular because he has more depth to him. Granted, it's still not a lot of depth, but he has a very distinct personality compared to Mario.

The thing with the koopalings is that there are seven of them, and they're usually pretty samey. They could make some of the koopalings more distinct, but that would be strange, with some recieving more limelight than others.
