Luigi was created to accommodate a second player, so when a single-player Mario game is produced, they tend to not focus on Luigi. Now and then he'll find his way into playable roles, but Mario will always be numero uno to Nintendo.
I think that the Shines in the sand that you have to spray are in the following spots.
* Where the large sandcastle in episode 1 appears. Try looking in episode 2.
* In the sand somewhere near where the watermelons are judged.
* Around a boat near the start of the level.
* By the...
What's the point of bringing back Shadow Mario? In Super Mario Sunshine, he was a mysterious character, but that now we all know that he's Bowser Jr., who cares?
It's Yoshi's Island that started the whole "Baby Obsession" Nintendo has, with stuff like Baby Mario and Baby Bowser, so as much as I like that game, I have to fault it for that. Baby Bowser led to Bowser Jr., so if we didn't have Yoshi's Island, we wouldn't have had Baby Bowser. Without Baby...
With the release of Super Mario Galaxy right around the corner, I think that we should keep everything to do with the game within this thread as to not clutter up the board. This is mainly to stop flooding the board with SMG topics.
But Sonic and Snake reguarly appear on rival consoles, which is what I don't like about having them appear in an all-Nintendo style game. I mean, if Rare was still with Nintendo, I wouldn't mind seeing Banjo, even though he'd have been second party, because he'd still be considered a...
There's that microgame in Smooth Moves where you have to direct boys and girls that have to take a piss badly into the correct washrooms. But no urine is ever seen.
I'm not a big fan of the third party characters, cuz Melee's case says on the front:
Nintendo's Best in 4-Player Action!
Sonic and Snake are from other companies, so it kinda violates the original premise.
Other than them...
Young Link/Wind Waker Link: No thanks. Young Link is too...
Have characters and species actually resemble what they're supposed to be, and do away with the whole "Koopas are humans that evolved from dinosaurs" crap.
Since they've started a trend of adding two new characters each to the newer titles, the next duo should be Diddy and Dixie.
And yeah, I've played single player when I'm really bored, but it's pretty dumb. I usually only play it to unlock stuff you can't unlock with multiplayer.
Getting back on topic, I'm not THAT upset over the delay, since there's a lot of crap coming out in November. It would've been too much had they stuck with the December release.
But February seems too far. I would've settled for January sometime.
I know, but I meant a mode where two players alternate between controlling Mario and Luigi like in SMB3. I can't see that happening with a game like this though.
Finally, even if it's just ends up being a mention, it's SOMETHING!!!
I'd like for Luigi to be playable similar to NSMB, if there's no proper two player mode.
YAY FOR ME! LUIGI :luigi:
I'M A LUIGI! NUMBER ONE :luigi:
THAT'S MAMA LUIGI TO YOU, MARIO! *wheeze* :luigi:
You could've easily left out Paragoomba, Paratroopa, Fly Guy and Chain Chomplet, since they're just sub-species of enemies you've already listed, thus leaving spaces for other enemies. Just saying.
Sometimes Family Guy can be hilarious, but other times, it's just a big waste, with overly long and/or cruel gags. Last week's episode (where Brian and Jillian break up) was just one huge trainwreck. The only funny part was Peter's Donald Duck costume.
The Banjo games are the kind of games that I can play over and over again and NEVER get bored of. Right up there with Mario.
But only the N64 titles. The GBA ones are lousy IMO.
There's some unwritten law which prevents Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings from ever appearing in the same game. And Nintendo sure loves Bowser Jr. Koopalings PWN Bowser Jr.
Peach, since, besides being a damsel in distress, she's had major roles in many games, such as SMB2, SMB3 (sends items), SMRPG, Paper Mario, Paper Mario TTYD, Super Princess Peach and Super Paper Mario.
It's a lot more than I can say for Daisy.
Sunshine wasn't as horrible as everybody keeps saying it was. Some parts that I liked include:
The Secret Levels. Those were fun.
All of the main levels were at least decent. Some of the courses like Tick Tock Clock and Dire Dire Docks from SM64 were just stupid. (Although SM64 is still had...
