Not true. It doesn't have to be a Mario game. It could be (and most likely will be) a Wario Land/Ware game.

I'm not saying it's impossible, I think it's actually very likely, but Nintendo wouldn't put a still secret character in a screenshot on purpose. It's Baby Peach, but I'm pretty sure Bowser Jr. is in.
