I usually watch Todd in the Shadows or Linkara, but NC was still pretty awesome. It's a shame he's done. I get why he's ending it, though, it's better to end on a high note than to trail off into shittiness (though some could argue that he was already there, but let's not get into that) and he...
When I was ten the Jungle Book movie made me cry.
I can't think of any movies that have made me actually break down in tears recently, but Toy Story 3 (duh) and Serenity have come close:
1. Better to try and not get any results than to not try at all, right? Besides, I'm not necessarily looking for people who are amazingly skilled and perfect at what they do. I'm just looking for people who like doing it.
2. If you have a decent microphone, I can help you out with changing that.
I'm trying to assemble a collection of remixes of the EP I recorded a while ago. One is currently being made (by the gentleman [men?] who brought us Buoy Base Dubstep), one just got made (by my brother), and one's gonna be made in October (by a guy I know from Soundcloud, once he gets Ableton...
My music teacher was in New York on 9/11. She told us about it. The temperature was perfect; the sky was bright blue; everything seemed right with the world until 8:46 in the morning.
The Hybrid Theory-era songs were a lot catchier but the Thousand Suns-era songs were a lot more interesting (like the ones that used vocoder). The lyrics were kinda cringeworthy throughout their entire career, though.
It was my required reading last year. Amazing book, one of the best I've ever read. Made me think of religion in a completely different way.
when we grew up and went to school
there were certain teachers who
would hurt the children any way they could
by pouring their derision upon everything...
Yes, Paul Ryan! Fight back against the evil, hateful, divisive liberals! We all know the Republican party never uses attack ads, and is all for unity, especially when they accuse the president of being born in Kenya and call people who disagree with them un-American communists!
I need to watch this. I've heard amazing things about it and it sounds like the sort of show I'd really like. I get a sort of Phineas and Ferb-meets-Scott Pilgrim vibe from it.
Just caught up on Aviate. It's all really good, but the chat interactions between Hector and Javelin are pure gold. My favorite parts so far. :)
Also, love the Dr. Horrible quote at the top of the page.
You can play the EP all the way through here, listen to the individual tracks or download high-quality .wavs of them here, or download the .mp3s and accompanying artwork here.

Most people think her music is catchy, that's why she's so huge. It's just that catchiness isn't everything. I went through a phase where I listened to all her music mostly to spite the general hipsterdom and actually stumbled upon some genuinely good songs that were relegated to album tracks...
They really are. Few of the other grunge bands of the era could pull of both Beatles-y ballads like "Dumb" and pounding heavy metal like "Scentless Apprentice." Also, their drummer was the ever-awesome Dave Grohl.
In Utero is probably my favorite of their albums, but their other ones are...

are you telling me you've never seen a welfare duel
the good welfare users take their welfare and shoot the welfare abusers with it
have you ever been hit by thousands of dollars of taxpayer money? it hurts like fuck
I think she should try other music. I don't have a problem with it if that's just what she likes but it'd be a shame if that was all she had listened to in her life and she never tried anything else.
Dude, shut the fuck up. I've only read, like, two pages of Homestuck and I have no opinion on...
there are also people who shoot other people with guns that people of your political alignment keep legal
if we shouldn't ban guns, we shouldn't get rid of welfare
badaboom
Been playing violin since I was three, I can sing, I know a (very very little) bit of guitar, and I use my laptop for producing and remixing songs (dunno if that counts).
