I would have been hilarious if in Super Mario Odyssey Goombas weren't the "don't slip" guys when you captured them but instead weren't seen at all until the postgame, at which point their capture power turned out to be just damaging things by walking into them.
Honey Queen was restricted to one world and had a rather long absence before her inclusion in MK7. Madame Broodal was directly involved in Oddyssey's story and if she's in a spinoff game I feel like it won't be as long for her as it had been for HQ.
Madam Broodal might actually mark the end of Honey Queen/PGP-style roster choices. They were grasping at straws for heavy characters, but now that they've got her there's no need for that.
If they're key characters in a key game, that's good enough for me. Which is also why I feel the Sprixie Princesses (or at least just the green one since she's the face of the group) deserve more than just Ultra Smash.
What is it about SML2's enemies that makes them so "here's their artwork, 'nuff said"? Because now that I think about it this one too, although frankly I prefer the sprite to the artwork.
But the real reason I came back is because more recent enemies were brought up and I thought the Draglets...
Guys, there's no such thing as a larval dinosaur. A larval horse, on the other hand...
The proof is right there. Yoshis start as larval horses before maturing into full grown horses.
Name: SiFi
Full Character: Tries to be a stoic badass space marine vampire hunter, but most of the time his WACKINESS gets in the way of this image. Because of this, he wears the Dracusaurus Puppet, which acts as the mouth for the WACKY side of him while the rest of the body tries (emphasis on...
Yesterday I got an email with this:
So I followed its instructions and got this the next day:
But when I click the link it provides and pick the game I want to get with the offer and confirm that yes, I'd like to pay thirty percent less for it than I would otherwise, I get this.
In the second...
What if they made classic Ganon a separate character, with his default form being Agahnim and then turning into the trident wielding beast for his Final Smash?
But then what was the handle for?
On a more serious note, Super Mario RPG. Most of the elements exclusive to that game just look so out of place, and the color scheme is so muddy that even SMB1 Mario looks considerably less vibrant when he makes his cameo.
Hey, at least someone's benefiting from that. Meanwhile, there's nothing to gain from throwing a baby penguin off a cliff in SM64, which is just cruelty for cruelty's sake.
Yeah, he really lives up to his name. When you find him in Country 2, he's been attacking a helpless DK with cannonballs for who knows how long, and his goal in 64 is just as genocidal as his plan to starve the kongs, only faster.
i'm overpowered put me in it but let me know if you ever write yourself into a corner like "but how can this still be a threat when the almighty sifi can just defeat it with a snap of his fingers"
I wonder if Baba's old friend The Devil has any chance of coming back in a worse-than-worst case scenario where they need someone who can insta-kill Freeza no matter how strong he gets. I mean, they bring back all kinds of other things that make the audience think "oh yeah that thing that could...
They look kind of EVA, particularly around the shoulders.
Also Pentecost having an estranged son would give him a lot more in common with a certain other commander who raised a blue haired stoic girl (who, in the Japanese dub, was voiced by Megumi Hayashibara) as a daughter.
Today's battle was between two great treasure hunters. The next will involve an even better treasure hunter who could lay both of them to waste without breaking a sweat: None other than Unca Scrooge.
My guesses for his opponent are Wario, Shovel Knight, or Indy himself.
I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but when I first heard Floor Corn it worked so well that I thought "someone has to have done this before because now that it's right here in front of me it's so obvious" but my quick check on Google to see if this was the case was pretty half-assed so I...
They'll probably have their own take on at least the first Broly movie, with certain elements of it fine-tuned for continuity's/storytelling's sake like Goku being SS Full Power throughout the whole thing and Broly being defeated in a more satisfying way like, say, a combination of the spirit...
Guys guys I'm psychic again I predicted jokes in the new TFS Broly thing
First of all, when the South Galaxy is destroyed, Goku's first suspect is Cell.
Second, King Vegeta's execution attempt is called "half assed", and and when I first mentioned my theory that Broly has some form of...
None, unless we're missing something even more well hidden. I kind of wonder if it's supposed to be a pizzeria run by Mario and that's what he's dropping, because the BGM sounds kind of like Italian stereotype music and the oven looks like the old fashioned kind you'd see at a pizzeria. Maybe...
You don't hear about these things anywhere, not even on sites like Mobygames or StrategyWiki that have an otherwise complete list of official ports. But they're real I've got videos.
Also there's a list of difference between those versions and the better known Colecovision versions here, plus...
Whew, made it in before the meme. Though some people may take issue with me in particular being the one who says that.
Choosing those out of all the wonderful bootlegs out there was hard. It's like when you're a parent and your children ask "which of us is your favorite"
Newest episode was perfect. One particularly neat thing was how most of Vegeta's dialogue once he figures out what's going on is a reference to his appearance in Neko Majin.
