I agree that it's likely for demo purposes. This series is pretty hit or miss with certain things, but the console games usually keep the roster in-tact at least.
I'm more worried that they'll continue dumbing down the Dream Events.

It's official: The ladies love Luigi. :luigi:
I'd make a joke about Bowser being a free man or something like that, but I can't after Mario Tennis Aces gave him that outfit.
Also it's funny, considering that the reason costumes were shot down as far back as the first game is because certain events would require Sonic to remove his shoes and...
If it's anything like last game, the rivals will probably be guests.
I'm hoping I'm wrong and we can use them in any event though (or at least make Bowser and Eggman Nega skins for their respective characters. It can't be that hard.[/spoiler]

Some more info.
Biggest take away is that the mission structure from Dark Moon has been dropped and we'll be seeing more ghosts in the vein of the first game rather than Dark Moon's take of...
Plot twist: It's actually Bowser Jr. who makes it, and he believes it wholeheartedly because his moral compass is that messed up.
Bowser's aware of it but he also encourages it because it bothers Mario.
I get that they wanted Ozma to be a special boss in the next Sports Mix/Hoops 3-on-3 sequel, but Bahamut and Behemoth didn't need such drastic redesigns...
I haven't played Minion Quest, but from what I know from that and my playthrough of this:
- Can deploy 9 troops now
- Bowser Jr. is always the Captain. You can change his type as the game progresses.
- You can use one of the Koopalings/Kamek as a sub-captain. They each have two commands...
She does use magic, she just never does it for anything useful.
Why else does she just float down from her cage every time she gets rescued in the more recent games?
I used to think her curl was a nose for some reason.
Must've been one of those wacky "polish the game after it comes out in the US" type deals ALA Luigi's Mansion's Hidden Mansion.
Let's not forget that the original Inside Story is still playable on the 3DS.
Odds are people will probably skip the remake simply because the original is still available.
In fairness, since Dream Team, we've had Paper Jam and both remakes. The remakes are generally seen as unnecessary (at least, from what I've seen) and Paper Jam had a lot going against it (Padding, no OCs, people being burned by the Sticker Star elements, etc).
We need a new game, is what I'm...
I never even noticed the sign. Wow.
Maybe that's what inspired the Peach intermissions in the first two Paper Marios?
I haven't played Super Mario Party, but the gimmick seems like the spawn of DK's Stone Statue/that one board from 6 and Pangoda Peak.
Just looking at it, I don't see anything bad.
Hey, she uses them from time to time.
And I know we use the axe and bridge as immediate examples of Bowser's stellar arena design, can you look me straight in the eye and justify the arenas and mines from Super Mario 64?
Most likely. A child looking exactly like their father isn't terribly uncommon in fiction (especially for stuff like ancestors). Brawl in the Family even pointed that out.
Necrobumping this because I found some more interesting concept art (namely clear versions of the other stuff).
One of them was for a sort of subplot involving a kid playing a trumpet. The concept was, according to someone translating in the comments, NPC that grows along with you as you...
To comment on the conversation from earlier, the problem is that people underestimate Peach due to how easily she gets kidnapped, when all they really prove is just how much they underestimate Bowser.
Because yeah, sure, Peach gets kidnapped a lot, but 90% of those are due to Bowser and nobody...
That description does indeed sound very similar to Bowser Jr., especially the part about being threatening while also being a little kid.
I guess my only issue is that Eggette feels like the sort of character that would be better executed in the Sonic comics or some other media rather than the...
In fairness, I'm pretty sure Cartoon Bowser's appearance is based on his original sprite primarily. Same with Toadstool. They just never bothered to update the designs to match their artwork and later appearances.
After all, the Nintendo Comics System couldn't even get Wart's look right.
He...
Eggman getting hi-jacked was a legitimate twist at one point. Then they overused it to the point of Eggman himself being the final boss being a legitimate plot twist. Though another example would be the Tikis/Snowmads vs the Kremlings.
I wouldn't mind a Mario game where Bowser isn't the big bad...
The thing about the "Sonic's Friends" issue is that the friends themselves aren't the problem, but the gameplay changes and mandatory playthroughs they bring along with them are. That's why games like Sonic Mania or Super Mario 3D World don't have that as a complaint (unless you're trying to get...
Somebody who recently finished Bowser Jr.'s Journey started adding english subtitles so that we could get an idea of what the characters are saying. It's not perfect (namely, the in-battle dialogue isn't taken into consideration).
Seems like the "SS Company" are beauty product suppliers.
The...
