That's because people make the mood-swing jokes, forgetting/not realizing that the entire point is that Peach is the one who actually controls her emotions.
Yeah, basing a game staring a female protagonists's main gimmick on emotions was a bad call, but they still showed some degree of restraint.
Not sure if this moreso belongs in the Smash thread but:

Adventure Mode: Waluigi's Revenge
:waluigi:
I think the Smash 4 Amiibo are still compatible with Ultimate, so that only leaves Young Link, Pichu and Snake with no clear way for right now.
I'm in the same boat. If the unlock methods are fun, I'll do it manually but if I can't wait, I'll just scan Bowser and Junior in and have them from the...
Snake has.
Technically Cloud has, but I find it borderline cheating considering Kingdom Hearts was really the only times that it wasn't just as part of an ensamble/crossover.
Yes, I'm aware of the irony in that post.
Retro-gaming then.
Well, it kinda does.
We have Nintendo along with the mascots of Sega, Capcom, Konami and Square-Enix (which also has the added benefit of adding the poster-boy for the PS1 (RPGwise anyway): Cloud Strife). We haven't seen anything like this since Captain N and that was nowhere near as ambitious...
I just want an alternate palette for Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings. The Koopalings SMW palettes were just screaming to be used.
I can somewhat forgive Smash 4 considering the that Junior was nearly cut, but there aren't any excuses this time around.
Super Circuit's Red Shells were probably one of the strongest, especially if you drop them behind you where they act as mines and chase anyone who drives too close.
I saw someone point out that one of Bowser's punches now looks like his Inside Story animation.
The devs are just using the ol' Koopaling method please understand
Mario & Luigi in general has been getting shabby treatment compared to Paper Mario.
At this point it's at, I believe, a few animation references, a single remix and (if I remember correctly) BIS' final boss music on the Galaxy stage.
If there are no more new stages, then that would probably mean one of two things:
1. The remaining newcomers are all from series already in Smash
or
2. They'll pull a R.O.B. and throw any newcomers from different series into a misc. stage
I'm just a bit paranoid.
I remember when the Mega Man trailer ended with Mega Man, alone, about to face the Yellow Devil.
So I'm kinda skeptical about potential single player modes involving bosses.
I can't find a complete source (Might need to bug Source Gaming into looking into it), but I did find this:

The option's green, like Smash Run and Smash Tour, and isn't tucked away under Games & More like how Adventure Mode was under Solo in previous games/Classic is under Game & More.
I might be wrong, but I don't think it'll be an Adventure Mode.
I don't where to begin, everything's just so great.
The Dedede fake was beautiful as well, as was K.Rool's Final Smash (DK Island got Neo Bowser Castle'd).
Also, Classic Mode's approach this time around looks cool. Makes me wonder what everyone's runs will be called.

R.I.P. Bowsy & Purple Guy
Also 6-game, 1-set games are now a thing.
In fairness, you linked a manual of a Super Mario Bros 3 port. Until recently, Nintendo seemed to go out of their way (or the opposite, technically) to not touch the original storylines.
On another note, as Captain K. Rool, Larry being leader and Marth's trophies in general can attest, Smash...
I'm not saying I believe it, but many people seem to miss the fact that, factoring the retcon, Peach and Mario had no idea that Bowser was even involved in the Delfino mess, much less that it was his kid (and indeed, the very fact that Bowser even had a son).
Most people take issue with the fact...
Regarding Target Test, I'm beginning to wonder if we've reached a point where personalized stages are impossible with the size of the current roster, especially with the amount of thought that went into the Melee ones (where else are you seriously gonna use Young Link's walljump).
I'm conflicted about Brawl. I used to like when I was younger, but nowadays I'm rusty enough that the last time I played, I couldn't get into it. Honestly, I kinda blame Smash 4.
As for my general thoughts, I like the roster. The aesthetics (the menus and music direction, not for the characters...
Well, alright I guess. Still, it can kinda feel somewhat meanspirited how it's gone about (there's a fanfic on FFN called "Conformity" that tries to explain the generic Toads for example), but that's probably just me.
Bowser takes retirement plans very seriously.
See, I just sort of accept that Sticker Star, Paper Jam and Color Splash are a different continuity whereas the previous games happened in the usual universe (the fact that PM1 elements such as the Star Spirits have appeared in other games on occasion is fuels this interpretation further).
It...
If the patch notes are to be believed, he'll probably sink lower than Waluigi in the future.

Kinda odd considering Bowser's entire plan in Sunshine was basically telling Junior that Peach was his mom. Add in Peach's response and people seem to seriously consider the third scenario.
I think I read somewhere that you can glitch to it during the Shy Guy invasion, so you might be thinking of that.
Also said Question Block contains a Frog Coin.
Thanks Square.
Clearly we need to bring back Blue Mario from Mario Tennis 64.
Maybe even turn Mario's electrocuted animation from Galaxy/the Skeleton costume from Odyssey into Dry Mario.
