It only shows me the number of deaths and not the amount of time played. I beat both SMG and SMG2 in one month and a half because I really wanted to enjoy the experience rather than rush into it.

I used Luigi wherever he showed up before fully unlocking him. After I unlocked him for every course, I pretty much used him everywhere except for the 242nd star. In that one, Mario's better friction was necessary.

SMS, Luigi's Mansion and DK64 are all perfect for a 3DS remake. Especially Luigi's Mansion since it's a kind of "small" game.

If you like basketball, hockey and online matches then yes go get it. I 'm having a lot of fun with it, especially online. Basketball and hockey are totally competitive and even dodgeball is surprisingly good. Volleyball is one big minus though.

I 've never played Mario RPG b/c it was never released in Europe, but I wouldn't mind having these characters in a New Super Mario Land 3DS where Bowser wouldn't be the final boss.

Hockey and basketball are by far the best games. I think that Hockey is slightly better than basketball too. Dodgeball can be fun, while Volleyball is the worst. It feels too slow and boring.
