Aside from just telling your browser to stop loading by clicking the "X" in the toolbar, I don't think there's something like that installed in MediaWiki.
SMK: Mario
MK64: Mario
MKDD: Mario and Peach on the Parade Kart
MKWii: Mario on the Wild Wing
MK7: Mario on the Pipe Frame with Slick Tires when playing for fun, Rosalina or Metal Mario on the Blue Seven with Slick Tires when playing to win

Yeah, I get it. I just did a test creation with only the animated models on the page, and it still gave me loading issues. While the gifs are cool, we might have to go with pngs of one frame of the animation if we want this page to actually load. Unless you just tell your browser to stop loading.
I don't know much about image compression, but I did make a proposal about splitting gallery pages if they get too large ( https://www.mariowiki.com/MarioWiki:Proposals/Archive_46#Splitting_Large_Galleries ). However, the specified number is 50K, while Gallery:Dr. Mario World is 30K. It's more...
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
It's all Lakituthequick's fault. I had no intention of buying a Switch-expanded port of a Wii U game I already owned, but he had to go and make a Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament after I bought a Switch. Thanks, man. /s
For real, though, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a great...
I think we can just delete the Dr. Wario art listed, considering we already have a higher-quality version, just with background: File:DrMarioWorld DrWario.jpg.
Swordsman in general, no. Plenty of things can be done with them, look at the differences between Link, Marth, Shulk, Cloud, Meta Knight, etc. Or even just Marth and Ike. Sure, it really comes down to the character's own abilities from their home game or what works best in Smash. I do agree...
It'll never end. When one stops, another begins. An endless loop of suffering and murder, your sanity constantly put to the test.
But at least there's doughnuts.
Those of you that have seen my Top 150 Games thread know I ranked Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door as my favorite Mario game overall. I love how the story is pieced together, but even if you ignore that, the gameplay feels great to me. I didn't mind the audience or stage hazards, if anything...
Alongside the tournament I'm running, I've also been playing Donkey Kong Country Returns for the wiki. There's also a few games on the system I have yet to complete, like Metroid Prime 3 and Kirby's Epic Yarn. I mainly use my Wii U, however, as my brother has the Wii in his room.
I can't get to it because I live in America, and it seems I can't change my region when I'm sharing a Nintendo Online account with members of my family.
It really depends on how games are handled. In games nowadays where you can save and continue from pretty much any point, lives and continues don't mean much. Game Over used to mean your game was over and had to start back at the very beginning rather than just the last save point.
So, Treehouse showed off more, and visually, the game looks beautiful. I love the artstyle and just how much the game is embracing the "paper" feel of the world. The origami looks of it all is very well done, and it looks like it'd be a lot of fun to run around in. Not sure how the story is yet...
So, this is a thing now. Apparently, WayForward is working on a new Bakugan game. Admittedly, having grown up with the original TV series and card game, I was a little excited to see Bakugan return. ...Except it's not Bakugan at all.
For those of you who do not know what Bakugan is, you have...
