If it's the Switch version, all I can say is don't be fooled when the clear pipe disappears in a body of water, it's still there and it going invisible is just a glitch.
I've been a bit iffy with including the amount of Wonder Seeds in a level in the intro of each article, as I feel that was a relic from a while before the game came out when we weren't fully sure how exactly it would work. Now we know that every normal level has two Wonder Seeds; one from the...
I've been thinking of changing my username on all platforms. I still strongly maintain my love for NEO: The World Ends With You and I may keep Rindo in my signatures, though I feel there have been times where my name can get awkward out of context. The name I most likely have in mind is...
I don't, the control stick works.
Anyway, for me I'd say Dreamy Bowser. Dream Team may be my favorite Mario & Luigi game, but I'm not a huge fan of the final boss mostly for his healing habits when he goes into the background and heals 150 HP then stays in the background and keeps healing...
Yohane the Parhelion: Numazu in the Mirage, already thinking it could be my favorite game of this year (can't really think of anything else upcoming that could be better).
Why do these kinds of threads always have to be on the negative side? If game companies want to keep certain successful franchises going, then they have the right to do so even if people may not like later installments as much as previous ones. If people think companies are being "cash grabby"...
One thing I had been thinking would be nice is if the game would allow you to initiate multiple troubles at once rather than only being able to do them one at a time. It would certainly save a lot of going back and forth.
With the new costumes being revealed, I am more tempted to give this game a chance (even though Numazu in the Mirage comes first). I believe the first trailer did establish basic gameplay without using any of the costumes (swinging the ribbon around), but looks like there are vast differences...
I took mine from NEO: The World Ends With You, one of my favorite games currently. "Swallow" is Rindo Kanade's (the main protagonist of the game) online friend who he often texts and plays FanGo with, though he does not know who they really are.
I've been a huge fan of Kingdom Hearts since childhood (far longer than Mario for that matter) and I do actually thoroughly enjoy the plot of the series. As much as I also love TTYD, outright saying it has a better plot like it's a fact is going a bit far.
They were quite controversial with Kingdom Hearts a few times, I remember fondly a reviewer called Roxas a "garbage character nobody cares about" because they didn't like the prologue of Kingdom Hearts II.
I'm getting a little more tempted to buy it but still not completely sure. I doubt it would be among my favorites if I did play it. I don't plan on pre-ordering as I often do but I'll see if it does go down well when it comes out.
For me it was when the Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story remake came out in early 2019 (and by extension, when Kingdom Hearts III came out too). I was one of the very few people who played it and I thought coverage was very lacking so I took it into my own hands to improve on it and I have...
The demo of Yohane Numazu in the Mirage, battles are pretty fun. It is turn-based and uses cards with lots of different effects like attacking and shielding. Best comparison I can think of is Paper Mario Color Splash which I know most think is crap but
I do enjoy playing it (it's just Roshambo...
I'm currently on the fence with Princess Peach Showtime, it's not the sort of thing that's properly grabbing my interest. The baking and the detective stuff shown already looks a bit cheesy to me. I may reconsider depending on the game's reception when it releases but I'm just not planning to...
The Peach game looks alright, but not fully sure if I will buy it. Will more likely consider the Thousand Year Door remake. Would have liked to see Yohane: Blaze in the Deep Blue come up in the direct
The Super Mario RPG remake might be the best one for me. It's a given that the iconic Mario enemies and characters would use their modern designs, but I'm also wondering if they'll also use their main names rather than the one-off names from the original game (e.g Cheep Cheep instead of Goby...
Hate to seem negative here, but it's been way too long since a new Mario game I would buy was announced in a direct and I've honestly had enough of the directs not showing any signs of those.
We haven't had a proper new mainstream Super Mario game since Odyssey back in 2017. Bowser's Fury is probably the closest to a new game but even that is still an extra part of 3D World.
All I want to see is a new Mario game that isn't a sports or party game get announced. I am getting Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, but I want something to look foward to beyond that.
I take it Mario Strikers was the only announced Mario game? I understand there would be lots of people excited for that, but it's not the sort of game I buy.
Out of the games that have already been announced, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is the only one I've taken interest in. I'm hoping tomorrow to get the release date for that, especially since Nintendo and Ubisoft haven't said anything about it since E3 apart from that it's coming out this year...
I don't think either of those are bad songs but they still can't hold a candle to The World Ends With You soundtrack, which is entirely composed of songs with lyrics.
