Actually, his "quirky" personality is what makes him different from the other characers. Without it, he'd be as much a filler character than Waluigi.

Smithy is kinda creepy. The Director (the boss you fight before Smithy) is actually the true villain, as they both are in check of each other. Smithy is very unstable and malfunctions very easily. He forces the director to make robot clones of him before he dies (malfunctions) and the cycle...

While PM:TTYD had some glamorous elements (ex.Glitzville), MLPiT was nothing but dark elements. (with the occasional playing with the babies) But you know what really was dark? Luigi's Mansion. I had to adjust my brightness high just to see the rooms!

Naked Gardeners! Actually Bowser helps Mario like 3 times. (Ex:SMRPG, MLSS, and possibly Super Paper Mario) Gruntilda is a bit scarier than Bowser but still not THAT scary. And yes, all villains have SOME kind of sensitive side, although Super Mario Sunshine was the first. :twisted: :evil:
