Not counting Virtual Console and 3D Classics:
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Fire Emblem Awakening
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Super Mario 3D Land (really, the only good Mario game on the 3DS imo)
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Phoenix Wright: Ace...
The topic of Odyssey missions was discussed (User_talk:Porplemontage#Odyssey_missions) with Porplemontage; he said that objectives that open with a cutscene (without leaving the kingdom or quitting the game and then returning) get articles, so you might want to bring that up with him, though I...
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Paper Mario
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
Mario Kart DS
New Super Mario Bros.
Super Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy
I like how the Choose Your Legends: Round 2 banner on the notifications board shows heroes that they thought would be the most popular. Looks like they were mostly right.
Also I forgot to vote yesterday. :(

Nintendo on a roll with these surprise announcements. I'm fine with that.
Super Mario Bros. 3: Similar to Mushroom Kingdom U, but transitions fighters between the eight worlds in the game (transition is similar to that of Castle Siege, but instead it's a tornado from the Warp Whistle).
Hands-On Hall: Takes place indoors, then a platform carries fighters to the...
The presentation is spot-on, and they set up the story so well in this. I especially like the gradual change of mood from the start (a scenery shot of a seemingly thriving environment) to the end (nope, it's post-apocalyptic and you're fighting for your life against a bunch of infected).
But...
tfw I can't get it until end of January next year
EDIT: lol nevermind
This, plus MP9.
And why they didn't even bother to include any MPDS minigames, the game you would think they'd take minigames from for a compilation on the 3DS, is beyond me.
Well I wasn't able to get the Legacy Edition (honestly, would've been completely fine if we even got the North American version), but at least I got these.
A few of my favourite games might have sneaked in:
Super Mario Galaxy 1 / 2 / 3D World (Odyssey's is shaping up to be just as good from what I've heard)
Cave Story (specifically the 3D/remastered version)
Donkey Kong Country Returns / Tropical Freeze
Fire Emblem Awakening / Fates
Kirby's Epic...
Added the 3DS image for Psystrike, and the rest of the DLC Final Smashes while I was at it.
Coins Galore is also up, though I couldn't get screenshots of the actual minigames because *bleep* Mummy-Me Maze Forever (EDIT: Images have been added thanks to L151).
A suggestion for the next Spotlight, if it hasn't been done already:
Koopa_Troopa#Mario_.26_Sonic_series
The Mario .26 Sonic series could use some info.
Maybe the only enemies that should be included into species categories are the parent species (e.g. Goombas and Koopa Troopas would be included; Galoombas, Paragoombas, Koopa Paratroopas etc. would not). That would at least satisfy the five-entry count while also not making it just a carbon copy...
10. Cave Story
9. The Last of Us
8. Super Metroid
7. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
6. Spyro: A Hero's Tail
5. Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
4. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
3. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (fight me)
2. Super Mario Galaxy
1. Metroid Prime
Honourable mentions...
I don't get why everyone's afraid the game will only have four worlds. They wouldn't show all of the levels in one trailer, let alone a debut trailer.
More Odyssey for me, though keeping my expectations low for Switch game reveals.
The washing machine wasn't the only thing they changed in the PAL version (dunno if this was brought up already but oh well):
American version:
European/Australian version:
