Ah, i forgot King Boo has a different design there. Must be because most of my exposure to the character has been through the Mario and Sonic series where he has the trophy look.
What about King Boo's trophy disappoints you, it looks like an average trophy to me? Not disagreeing with you since I don't have an opinion, just curious.
The RPGs seem like they're a mile apart from any other continuity in the Mario franchise. With the other spin-offs, it's very much possible to reconcile them with the main canon, whereas the RPGs have built up their owns worlds and lore that'd be harder to fit.
To be honest, I think he's more popular with the guys than the girls, romance-wise.
...Yes Bowser is very desperate and may be influenced by factors outside of genuine affection (although that's probably a main factor anyway).
As much as I do not hate this game from looking at videos of it, expecting an RPG game in a new installment of an RPG series isn't exactly setting expectations high.
He didn't literally not play it, the point was that he played it on one occasion and then stopped, so he never played it in the sense that he didn't dedicate time to completing it and such.
All - Yoshi. He's a go-to main character when there's nobody else I'd be interested in.
MP5/6 - Koopa Kid. Why not, he's probably the closest you'll get to a playable main baddie if MP9 is any indication.
MP8 - Hammer Brother/Blooper. Hammer Brother is a Koopa minion, and Blooper is just...
Even if it had been that way (which there's no indication of there being in Japan), you could very easily drop it because it has never affected the games in any way.
Yeah, don't trust the Western localisations because the developers had nothing to do with that.
They could still be Bowser Jr's cousins though, and then we'd know that Bowser had a brother called Morton if that held true. In any case, related or not, they're still the same characters they...
Because that's the only version out so far? Nintendo Direct was a Japanese-exclusive streaming event done by Nintendo Japan, we'd have to wait for NoA or NoE to follow up for an English version.
Oh geebus, ignore Shadiwulf. I've known him for all five years I've been on the Sega forums (as Pur-Rulz), and he's always looking for a reason to rag on Nintendo.
Bowser Jr (my fave Mario character) still gets a lot of hate. Recently in Rogerregorroger's Mario and Sonic London video, he portrayed him as a completely whiny brat, threw a 3DS in his eye and then dropped a piano on his head.
Has this been posted yet? Lots of official artwork for the game, includes Raccoon Mario in his SMB3 pose, the Mega and Mini Mushrooms coming back and lots of gold power-ups.
Isn't it a little early to be making predictions? Mario and Sonic London 3DS came out in February, and the next Winter Olympic installment isn't due to be announced until this time next year.
But spin-offs don't bear any real importance, generally. Certainly that's not to say that they're bad, but when it comes to what it and isn't in the series, only the events of the main games are concrete. Everything else just an interesting footnote in comparison.
And I say that from the...
A magazine has been scanned on another forum (focused on film), and it seems that the demon king has some sort of cameo/role in Disney's upcoming film, Wreck-It Ralph!
Apologies if this is already old, but isn't it just so exciting to see him in true form on the film screen?
Re: Miyamoto is Stepping Down as Head of Nintendo
Oh. Well, whatever he was, he stepped down from it. :/
Edit: Changed title to reflect the fact I actually have no clue what he was.
Crackin's right. Currently the numbers for the triplets seem uneven. To balance it, there'd have to be nine suits for Mario too, which I believe means all the Koopalings plus one spare space for another character.
Edit: Okay, did the last objective I thought had for the Miis, got a Morton Koopa...
You know what, I might as well post a guide to getting these all here, so peeps can see it for themselves too.
Espio Suit - Place 1st place ten times in any normal events.
Cream Suit - Place 1st ten times in any London Party bonus games.
Charmy Suit - Play for a total of 1 hour (in Single...
Oh my! We've got confirmation of one specific NPC Mario costume, and I swear you'll be pleasantly surprised;
There's Marine too, if anyone is interested in the Sonic ones.
Sonic Rush had animals in robots. I'd have to check if Rush Adventure did as well.
Edit: Nope, so Sonic Rush was the last game (that wasn't Sonic 4) to have animals in robots.
Cream IS avaliable as a costume.
Found that out from a second source, the first one mustn't have found Cream in Party mode yet. No word on any specific Mario costumes yet, though.
Currently trying to cobble together info about the game at the mo. So far, I have been able to find out from other sources that;
-Unlocking music tracks costs 2 scratchcards (scratchcards presumably replacing points from Mario and Sonic Winter), with unlockable ones including both original...
Man, I didn't even give a dang about the Mario series until about...say, 2008 (yeah, the year I signed up to these forums) when I was 16. Before then, the most I knew about the franchise was that it was fronted by a plumber and that it had a very cute dinosaur (Yoshi!) which I adored despite my...
And he can breathe fire underwater in Super Paper Mario. Not to mention that the Koopas as a species seem to be water-based, so he'd have at least some finesse with it from that.
