You do get 3 more cities after beating the main game (or 2 cities & a forest). Doesn't that count as "more areas to explore?"
And seeing Castelia City for the first time made me think it really did "revolutionize the Pokemon world". It wore off, though.

With Peach gone, the Mushroom Kingdom is thrown into turmoil (or at least before Mario and Luigi began interfering.)
With the Mushroom Kingdom in turmoil, it's easy to take over.
Once he has conquered two kingdoms (Dark land and Mushroom Kingdom), all of the others will fall...
Clawdia is probably Bowser Jr's mother, but the fact that she isn't seen in any games (except for the False Bowser that looks like a girl, ) means that she probably didn't mother the Koopalings. Maybe a regular Koopa that magically got a mega mushroom? Maybe some mutant Yoshi eggs...
Um, Lakithunder has only had one mayor appearance (if I recall correctly), and even though it was in a recent game, I'd like to see more of him. Cackletta would also be a nice readdition, as well as Wart.
Um, Bowser Jr. would probably have trouble beating :bowser:'s epic power. He could try and pull off a stunt, like stealing the Koopa Clown Car, but in the end Bowser would overcome him by sheer power.
