A 'yes' and a 'no' option on the poll would have sufficed.
No he isn't. He's a fairly original character/species with very original abilities, the ability to ride Yoshis in games is a fun gameplay mechanic, he's fun to play as and his games are good.
Youch. That sure told me. It really touched a nerve too. How could you? :'(
Don't worry milado, once your mouth causes itself to get a whack off a few people you'll know what of the stuff that comes out of it is annoying, and what of it isn't. It's just a case of experience. Also, no need to...
A Mario game based around football (much like a Mario Tennis game is a Mario game based around tennis), of which there are currently two, with a potential third being discussed on this thread:
I'm not sure what you're agreeing with, but thanks for your input :yoshi:.
If you don't antagonise me then I won't retaliate. You took it upon yourself to talk down and be rude to me for no apparent reason (despite you having the snide to not, in your words, 'call me anything bad'). That's not...
I agree with you regarding Super Mario Kart, as classic as that game is, it's courses a mostly outdated. Super Circuit however actually has some really good track designs/themes that still hold up even when compared to the 3D games. Taking away the SC tracks that've already featured as retro...
Nice, I've been re-playing the first NSMB and the Mega and Mini Mushrooms are awesome, hopefully there will be some more innovative uses for them in this game. However does this mean NSMB1 is 'retro' enough for the new NSMB games to be paying homage to it :toad:?
Since it's Kirby's 20th anniversary, what about a Kirby suit? You use it to suck enemies up and then shoot them out as stars, or swallow them and take their powers.
As they are I'd prefer Toon Link because I think he means a lot more to the franchise (the Links of The Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass, Spirit Tracks, The Minish Cap, Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures all use the 'Toon Link' style), but I'd like Young Link to appear in SSB4 with his mask...
What's your problem you little prick? Why you acting aggressive towards me? All I was doing was doing sharing a story, one which was relevant to the topic because it explained why I liked Pokemon back then and didn't like Digimon, I thought it may be of some interest too. I didn't expect some...
I've never had a problem with Autobombs and Pansers, but speaking of SMB2, I've always found Flurries to be a pain in the arse. An unpredictably moving enemy which usually comes after you when you're on low-traction ice, with there usually being bottemless pits to fall down, is a bad mix.
Cool ideas! She should also use them to travel vertically for a limited period of time! :tumble: It's awesome when people get to bounce ideas of each other.
No, I was 7 then. I'm much older now, and will be even older next week.
The peer pressure thing was mainly a tongue-in-cheek statement borne out of fond memories of every kid I knew back then being mad about Pokemon and hating Digimon. I don't think anyone actually knew the slightest thing...
Hammer Bros. from SMB1, SMB2 and Lost Levels (they're not too bad in other games). They're very unpredictable and they have no pattern. Despite moving completely randomly they never seem to make a move which will allow you to get past them. For example, a pair of Hammer Bros. on the usual two...
He's certainly one of the more interesting bad guys in the series. His personality has a more sinister, intelligent and dignified edge to his personality than the likes of Bowser, Bowser Junior and K. Rool. Luigi's Mansion seems to be growing into its own series, so he should be elevated to the...
Nintendo uses DLC now. Their not using it in the past greatly limited how much they could put in the game, now they are using it a lot more can be done with Mario Kart U. They should just go ahead and make every track from every Mario Kart game purchasable through DLC. Still have the regular...
I: Charizard - seeing that giant orange dragon on the Pokemon Red cartridge for the first time was so exciting, as a little kid it grabs your attention straight away and makes you want to play it immediately
II: Lugia - Ho-oh never looked right to me, Lugia on the other hand looked really cool...
Give me a break, peer pressure is a very hard thing to fight against when you're 7.
It was also a very dark age where not many people had a home computer and we had no idea what the 'internet' was. Nowadays you can easily use the internet to look into stuff beyond the mainstream spectrum, but...
I'm a nice guy really. I've phoned charity telethons many times to pledge donations, I even gave them MY credit card number once.
Would anyone sacrifice either the Paper Mario series or the Mario and Luigi series for the sake of a continuation of the Super Mario RPG series?
So according to people on this thread the following characters are overrated:
Mario
Luigi
Peach
Yoshi
Toad
Bowser
The Koopalings
Rosalina
Birdo
Wart
Tatanga
Bowser Jr.
DK
Diddy Kong
Waluigi
Funky Kong
Poochy
Geno
Fawful
Waluigi
Baby Mario
Baby Luigi
Wario
Petey Piranha
Toadette
So pretty much...
I agree. NSMB2 and NSMBU give me the impression that Nintendo are afraid of doing much different with the 2D Mario series, I think they're aware of how popular SMB1, 3 and World are so they're intent on milking that popularity again and again by making games based off them, whilst being...
Pokemon. If you mentioned Digimon in the 90s you'd get laughed out of the playground, I learnt to stick to Pokemon and not to even try to become interested in Digimon.
The primary, secondary and tertiary categories were based more on the respective character's status in spin-off games than how big a role they've played in the main Mario series and the sub-series. The likes of K. Rool, Kamek and E. Gadd have played much greater roles in the 'real' games than...
This is an easy choice for me - Super Mario Bros 2. (USA) any day of the week. That game is outstanding, others come close but it's definitely my favourite 2D platformer in the series. A 2.5D game with the same graphical style as NSMBU would be perfect - have Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad...
This would be perfect for me (well, perfect would be every Mario character ever, but I'm trying to be sensible), of course it'll never happen, but with Nintendo now using DLC in their games I do think it could allow Mario spin-offs to have much bigger rosters, so a roster this big is a realistic...
Mario, Bowser and Peach in the same game? Wow!
Squeenix and Ninty are cool right? They did Fortune Street and Mario Sports Mix and all that jazz together right? What's a couple of characters between buddies?
The Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series are enough, and long may they continue...
A cameo to Mario Strikers Charged? If they wanted to make a music reference something they could've at least referenced a cool and classic game like Super Mario Land. That game has amazing music, but how often do you hear it get any credit?
Two characters who haven't had a good game since the 90s and have had barely featured on Nintendo consoles. They had iconic games on the Playstation, but that was well over a decade ago, no offence to the fans of them, but both series are on the 'z' list nowadays. Also, as I said, they had...
Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels on Super Mario All-Stars. Beat it for the first time (including worlds A-D), and actually didn't have too much trouble. Very proud.
I would do but Chuggaconroy fans jump on you like a pack of rabbid attack dogs the second you say something about him which isn't 100% positive, so it's just not worth it.
I definitely want them both , but I'm looking forward to Luigi's Mansion 2 more since I've been been waiting for a 'Luigi's...
You talking to me? I just posted the link for the convenience of other users so they could just click it and get to the game's page without having to search for it themselves.
It's mainly muscle, just look at his arms. The fat he does have is distributed evenly across his torso to give him maximum power, similar to what sumo wrestlers do.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii U-Nintendo Direct Details
There's a flying squirrel suit in the game, it's not the Tanooki Suit again. Those 'Miis' popping up aren't real people, they're just messages that have been programmed in, why would they deliberately mistake it for something else?
Flying...
Super Mario Bros. on my copy of Super Mario All-Stars for the SNES. That version is infinitely better than the original, the updated graphics, music and animations give so much more life and vibrancy and charm to game.
I didn't start a fight. We also peacefully ended our discussion on the other thread with us both agreeing to disagree and apologising to each other for going over the top. Now keep you big nose out both of my business and Prof. Mario's ass and leave me alone.
DO YOU HAVE SCREENSHOTS? REALLY...
Mario history since Mario history is only 30 years long, rather than world history which is 4.5 billion years long. Much less to know about the former than the latter.
