A couple nights ago I ran out of patience quickly on the 100 Mario Expert Challenge (i.e. whatever would be the first level), something I have already completed about six times.
I have already come up with a new level last night: Big Spiny's Spikey Stacks! It's my first castle level featuring my first attempt ever at a "boss fight." It is also my first Lakitu level. It can be jumped on but its cloud shouldn't cheese that much of the level. I think I have put enough...
I made a new level a couple nights ago: Cliffside Gardens. This is an attempt at an easy platformer level, and the concept is something I'd like to revisit eventually for a harder level as I get better at designing levels. It's probably my longest level yet, though, but I'm sure I put the...
I made a new level today: Bone-Chilling Alley
It's in the good ol' Super Mario Bros. style, although the Ghost House archetype did not exist then. As you could perhaps tell by the title, this level features several Dry Bones and ice. It's a simple and quick platforming level.
EDIT: I modified...
This level was okay. I cheesed through a lot of it by jumping onto the Bill Blaster and using the Propeller Shrooms to jump over large sections of the level. I'll probably play it in the more intended way soon.
I made a new level last night: Green Shrooms in the Caverns. This time it's in the Super Mario Bros. 3 style, featuring several red Koopa Troopas like last time but also several Spike Tops!
Alright. I got a couple levels beyond my initial simple creation now.
Seaweed and Shelled Critters - An underwater level featuring Koopa Troops in the SMB style.
Yellow Shrooms in the Sky - Just as it sounds like, in the Super Mario World style. The enemies of this stage are red Koopa Troopas...
I have been a fan of the series as long as I can remember, but I do not know what got me into the series. The game I have the earliest memories of playing is Super Mario Sunshine, but I am not too sure about that.
I'd really like to see Retro's take on environments from the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy they have yet to touch on in their games, like the forest stages from Diddy's Kong Quest.
