Bumping this because Christmastime is here yet again.
My favorite Home Alone movie is still a tie between the first and the second. Haven't seen the 3rd or 4th yet, and I haven't seen all of the 5th one but I still have it on my DVR from last year. While I'm sure it's terrible, it seems...
They actually went through with it? Wow. Last time I checked, the G4 channel was gone completely. I just checked now and it's still gone, so I'm assuming it might be just a Dish thing. I don't have Dish, I have Bright House, so yeah.
This doesn't really make sense though because of that article...
What does that mean? :P Judging by the cognates it looks like it says "Americans are stupid".
But yeah, it really did tick me off that they were butchering the name. Like I said, I'm not putting the blame entirely on them because the French language format can be a bit weird to write for...
I don't actually have the trilogy, but I've played and beaten all three games and they're fantastic. The trilogy has a few extra improvements in it as well (addition to, of course, the updated controls for the GCN ones)
Don't feel bad or anything, I give you serious props for all the hard work you've done on the wiki. Lately when I've been reading about 3D World on there, I've noticed you've helped a vast portion of the work on the game's articles. Not to mention your countless other helpful contributions...
Re: The Official "Hurt and Heal", "KO a Character", and "Vote to Win" Winners Thread
It's alright, you don't need to apologize. Also, you shouldn't be pissed. You just need to think of Hurt and Heal games that people other than you would be interested in. And Doctor Who fits that standard...
Re: The Official "Hurt and Heal", "KO a Character", and "Vote to Win" Winners Thread
Not to be rude, but you can't really force people to play forum games. They'll play a forum game if they like the topic it's based on. Luckily, I know there's quite a few Doctor Who fans here, so hopefully...
Re: Marioboards Secret Santa!
I'll sign up, but question: would strange TF2 items and Steam gift passes be acceptable gifts? I already have some gift passes I could give away, and there's a strange TF2 item I have a duplicate of, so I would be fine with giving either of those.
As for something...
It's an alright simulator, I just wish they added more variety of items, since aside from the Unusuals, it just gives you the same 5 or 6 items over and over.
Also, I held down the space key for like 5 minutes
is this bad
Re: The Call of Duty Wikia's trivia section
You forgot the people who over-analyze events that happen in SpongeBob, like when Squidward blockaded his door in Squid's Day Off:
Fun fact) If you printed out every single article on Wikipedia, it would be equivalent to roughly 1,760 volumes (if printed at the density of Encyclopedia Britannica's volumes) and weigh over 7,000 pounds.
That's a great Naked Eyes song. I think I might like it more than "Always Something There to Remind Me" because it's not as overplayed on the radio.
And yeah, I guess it's all about mindset. Personally, I can never say that I like a band unless I've checked out a considerable amount of their...
It's more of the fact that I don't really think people can actually say they "like" a band as a whole if they haven't heard more than 1 or 2 songs by them. Just one of my pet peeves, don't mind it :P
I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just curious: have you actually heard any other songs by Information Society, Naked Eyes, and Matthew Wilder, other than their biggest hits ("What's On Your Mind (Pure Energy)", "Always Something There To Remind Me", and "Break My Stride", respectively)? I don't...
A Windows 7 desktop. Really, that's the main thing that I would like this Christmas, since this XP desktop is getting really old and has a graphics card worth crap.
Oh wow, that sounds awesome. I'd definitely prefer that over an acoustic version. And Tom Morello on top of that? I'm enthused. That sounds worth checking out.
That's cool how he's going to be recording a studio version for a live-only track. It seems like he only released that song on a 2001...
I rented the first Hunger Games on Redbox and while it was pretty good, it wasn't spectacular or anything. I guess it's because I haven't read the books so I didn't understand it as much (mainly because I don't read books that much anymore).
Of course, this sequel looks pretty good, but I'd...
Yeah, I checked out the track listing. From what I saw, it seems like an interesting album for him, considering it contains both new and old material. It also looks like a few of the songs were on EPs he released over a decade ago, while "The Ghost of Tom Joad" was on the album of the same name...
Yeah. I have to comment, though - I have a few Mario Party games myself, and they're really boring and tedious to play by yourself. Make your move, wait 3 turns, make your move...rinse and repeat (save for the occasional minigame). They're definitely meant to be for a group of people.
You're leaving again? ...Already?
Well, you're most likely going to come back like you did the past 3 times, but if you actually are leaving, then I hope all goes well with you.
Some people are really fast to finish games, while others like to savor them. Not everyone's methods with gaming are the same; as for me, I'm the latter.
Also, I just got it and played through the first level so far. Already, I'm loving the free-roaming around the map, and the fact that the...
Re: today you did things noteworthy
Just bought 3D World at GameStop today. I actually can't recall the last time I got a game on release date, so it's been quite a while since I have, methinks.
I love how the female GameStop employees were wearing cat ears for the game, lol
Yeah, it's...
Well, the Xbox One came out today. I don't really care, but I just thought that should be said here anyways. :P
I'm not interested in either the XB1 or the PS4, but from what I've read, the PS4 seems to be getting the most acclaim out of the 3 current 8th-gen consoles.
Well, hello Rin! :) It's great to see you've returned, I knew you would.
Did you ever finish writing any songs that you mentioned you were doing when you left back in July?
The Wii Sports Club demo.
I'm really glad they added online play, definitely seems to be the highlight of this game. Other than that, it just seems like an HD remake of the original Wii Sports, with a few new things thrown in like stickers, clubs, etc.
