Another thing to note is that the difficulty is ramped up a bit, at least it seems like it to me. I struggled to beat the first trial captain and totem Gumshoos.

i'm just going to do what i do every gen and figure out my team as i play
however some of my top picks are
pretty much every enemy in mario is "basic", they're designed that way so they're easy to recognize and remember
just look at boo, it's just a white sphere with a face and stubby arms, but everyone loves boo including me

i love all three of the starter evolutions, probably gonna pick litten on my first playthrough
i find it amusing that lakitu's voice clips in super sluggers (like "out", "that's the ball game"", etc.) all sound vaguely like what he's supposed to be saying, but for "strike" he just loudly grunts
i'd imagine that there's some way to read stuff from your wii u and download game data you have on it onto the switch
at least i hope so, not being backwards compatible at all would be shitty
Not necessarily just characters that have never appeared, but any character that may have only been playable once or twice that you want to see playable more.
In general, I think the spin-offs should have much larger rosters (like, Super Sluggers size), but I especially want to see more enemies...
honestly if nintendo did something like this (obviously without all of the bad translation and shitty sprites and other typical bootleg stuff) it could actually be a really cool phone game
Yeah, the train itself is certainly important enough to get its own section at least, if not a seperate article; it appears in every single orange level, and 3 out of 5 of those levels are even centered around it.
I beat the game, so time for my mini-review.
I had tons of fun with it, and I would definitely recommend it, but for people who aren't as easily entertained as me I'd say wait for a price drop since the battle system gets pretty monotonous. However, the writing, level design, and atmosphere...
to anyone who also has this game and/or is smarter than me: is there something i'm missing with the roshambo temples? i know that the toads on the steps give you hints on how to beat the first two opponents, but is the third round seriously just luck?
