No. Sakurai said the character has to originate from a video game, no anime, manga, cartoon, book, comic, etc. originating characters, even if they've appeared in a video game.

The new update, I think, implies a story mode, whats that thing in the last picture anyways? My guess, the new main villain, looks like a robot; maybe its the Master Hand and Crazy Hand's boss and the "Smash Master" or something, it does look pretty sinister, after all.

Yeah, they were in The Super Mario Bros Super Show! a whole bunch of times; the sub-species is "Birdoroos", Birdos that look and act like Kangaroos. I think they were in the episode "Crocodile Mario / Rowdy Roddy's Rotten Pipes".

Everything looked weird in the Hotel Mario cutscenes, though Morton and Roy looked pretty on model, from what I've seen.

Well, this was a good idea; anyways, could you maybe find a picture of the Koopa Pack (just King Koopa, Mouser, Tryclyde and Koopa Troopa) one where they're not wearing costumes, if thats possible.

Discuss it now! Personally, I think this game looks awesome, they've got Animal Buddies, Mario Kart-esque items, the ability to hit eachother, female Kremlings, new characters and the unexpected return of Squeaks the Parrot.

As the name implies, make up your own Animal Buddies and post the ideas here. My idea was maybe some kind of big hermitcrab named Helmut (its German, I think) that protected the Kongs from any attack, but he can only defend, not fight; he could be used on land and maybe underwater.

I personally find it pretty awesome, lots of references to past games, death seems a bit too common though, how many characters have been ruthlessly slaughtered in it? Still, fight scenes are still awesome.

May not fit here, but, just to point out, somebody has been generous enough to upload a boatload of Donkey Kong Country episodes onto YouTube, which is great, I'm working on article for an episode of it right now.

Hey! I only cheated in getting Mew, Celebi and Deoxys, the rest I got "the right way" (including Jirachi, Ho-oh, Lugia, etc.).

And they said getting every Pokemon game that came out was pointless, whose laughing now! And since I've recently got a DS GameShark, I can get Arceus, Shaymin and Darkrai and my collection will be complete. Power trip aside, I basicly like any ghost Pokemon, or anything thats either...

Just imagine Feraligatr can control sand or whatever it is Sir Crocodile does, I forget. Anyways, exempting Shaymin, Darkrai and Arceus, I have every single legendary Pokemon.... :eekdance:
